I just figured I’d be one of the first people to ask for GRD in Halo 4. I’m not asking for it to be in the game btw. I just figure that it will be and it’ll be a special armor that we can’t haz. So I’d like to feel special by having one of the first threads about it.

I’m not actually sure their will be a special variant of armor in Halo 4 but if their is expect the Halo 4 forums to be filled with begging.

We still need to figure out how the hell we can get it in Reach…

Din’t someone say that a Bungie employee unlocked it and showed it off in the Bungie Day Live Stream? Plus, a spartan using it was shown off in pictures for the Defiant Map Pack. I wouldn’t give up on the search unless 343i themselves say it can’t be unlocked.

The Tenderloins Armory thing was made up.
The Defiant picture was on a private dev build, not retail.
You can’t unlock what isn’t there.
Who cares about a helmet.?
Maybe it will be a Mark VII helmet for the Spartan IVs. In which case it would be in Halo 4.
Adding new armour for Reach is impossible. PM me for an in-depth discussion if you wish, but the long and short is that it’s just not.
That said: I’m hoping there aren’t any ‘exclusive’ armour sets for Halo 4, if armour customisation is even implemented at all. I’m already sick of seeing the Haunted Helmet.
This helmet, I believe, will be in Halo 4. Maybe it will maybe it won’t. A theory of mine is that 343 will put it in reach shortly before Halo 4 comes out, or maybe it will be a 343 employee only helmet like Bungie and their recon and flaming helmet was for Halo 3. You would think that since they already have a reach model done for the helmet that they would put it in. But, like I said, if it does end up being added to the reach armory it porbably won’t be added until a little ways from Halo 4’s release.

Can you explain how that’s even possible? It’s not in Reach, and it never will be.

Why do people still believe that the helmet is in the game, or it’s going be be added at some point?
I personally don’t care much for the helmet, but it would be pretty cool to add in
