ok so im at rank 102 rn in halo 5 if i grind for at least or more than 8 hours a day could i possibly get to 152 before infinite is out and what are some things i can do to help make this go more quickly and how much xp do I need to earn a day till infinites release
It depends on a lot of variables but the best I have found is playing Warzone Firefight and if possible play the mythic difficulty as it rewards more Req points and XP than any other playlist, especially upon winning a game. Play smart, spam vehicles, and try your hardest to win. Winning exponentially increases XP gains. You will probably have to play on average like 8 games a day to reach max level if you play mythic WZFF that is and on average get 19,000 XP a game.
I average even with the common XP boosts about 19,000 XP per game and more if we win. If each game lasts about 20 min on average (CAN BE WAY QUICKER WITH PREMADE TEAM) you will be needing to clock in ~2.67 hours a day. Now, if you happen to save your Req points, sometimes the store will sell the legendary WZ XP boosts. Popping one of those combined with a win is an ez 24,000+ XP yield per game. If you are getting to round 4 or even beating round 5, you will be getting 4-5k Req points per game. Those packs sell in 20x boost packs and cost 100,000 Req points. So, if you do happen to sink your life away for the next 308 or 307 days, playing Mythic Warzone Firefight games will allow you to purchase these packs much more often. I played this weekend almost every hour I could and went through about 100 of the boosts and man do they help.
Your best chances are to talk with teammates and maybe give them tips while playing. For example, the grunt mechs shield can be disabled with the right weaponry opening the grunt in the canopy to a quick headshot once the shield is down. I said this once and everyone pulled out plasma pistols and within seconds the round was over. You could watch tips and trick videos too to learn the weaknesses of enemies and the best way to deal with certain challenging rounds. Eventually, you will know what to do and can do most of the work on your own in these games. I will be playing daily so if you want you can add me, GT: Hynivan. I am trying to get a group of players together so that we can run premade groups to effectively coordinate and win mythic games more often.

Is it possible? Yes.
However you need to commit a decent chunk of time per day to playing solely Halo 5 multiplayer - preferably Warzone Firefight with XP boosts on too.
HaloTracker is a great way to track your XP. You need 50 Million to reach rank 152. You’re probably looking at 150,000-200,000 XP per day. Which is about 15-18 Matches of Mythic Firefight a day assuming you win most of those matches it’ll take you a handful of hours.
You can do it but be prepared to dedicate a lot of time towards playing Halo 5.
You can for sure do it. Halo Infinite releases Fall 2021, as long as you keep at it and make sure that you’re having fun more than anything else. At 151 i’ve realized that Infection and Firefight are the best options for fast xp. Play every day or most days at least. As far as Firefight goes, I would say stick with normal Firefight for your sanity’s sake, unless you have strong will enough to make it through Mythic. Use boosts when you can, play with friends, and try to forget about leveling. Just have fun and the rest comes naturally.
All depends on how much work and effort you’re willing to put in… playing 8 hrs everyday will help… but making sure you stay in mythic firefight (painful though it may be) AND putting a boost will shorten the time needed… but after a few weeks… you’ll probably hate it. So I’d suggest when you get to that point, switch up your game type to whatever the featured playlist is… that way you’ll at least get extra xp AND it’ll break up the monotonous struggle of mythic firefight…
Yeh you could it would take a while though
If I remember correctly it takes 50 million xp to get to 152. So just subtract how much xp you have from the 50 million. Now I think they are going for a mid November launch. So I would divide the number you need by 42, which is about how many weeks away from launch. Then that will be about how much per week you need. So technically even players picking up H5 right now could possibly make it but it would be one heck of a grind and you wouldn’t have much of a life. To which I would say it wouldn’t really be worth it just for some armor “coating”… Which it wouldn’t even surprise me if they don’t just make available to every one any ways at some point like they did sticker shock weapon skins and Helioskrill armor. Or that emblem you could get with buying mega blocks or that t-shirt one… 343 doesn’t keep to many “exclusives”.
I found ranking up to be easy until I got past SR 140
Yes. I have seen people go from zero to 152 in 5-6 months by trying super hard, so considering infinite is almost a year away you can easily pull it off if you play at least semi consistently and use your boosts on living dead double xp and warzone assault double xp
They should make all Firefight 5x XP until New Game in fall.

That’s a cool idea, but if it was easy to get to 152 it would take away from the value and pride of the reward.

Even with 5x XP or even 3x it would still be one hell of a grind and people starting from level 1-20 prob still would not hit max in time. Not to mention an armour coating in general is that not good value of an reward for the time invested.

I’d cap it at triple xp, 5x seems excessive especially with Infinite’s Fall 2021 release date. And you’re right, an armor and weapon coating isn’t the best value of reward, but it’s not about the object it’s about what it stands for and what it means. People who have 152 have put in the time and effort to wear Watchdog and whatever else comes with the 152 Legacy reward, and they wanna be able to show that in any way they can. Making it widely available or much easier to get would make the reward mean even less. Kind of like when Bungie made Recon available via VIdmasters. It was still legendary in it’s own right, but now that it was much more common it lost a little bit of it’s wow factor. I want people to see Watchdog in Infinite and say holy -Yoink-, not oh there’s another one.

As much as i agree with some of it. I still think not many would hit 152 even with 3x. They deffo need to give more than a coating

Well, they confirmed there is more. We know about the Watchdog coating for armor and weapons, but there’s more for the reward apparently. I think that as long as whoever is playing puts in the work and is having fun, they should reach 152 in a few months, definitely before Infinite as long as they don’t leave and play a different game for like three months.

In my experience, it’s pretty easy to level until you get to 140 which is when it slows down. If you do normal Firefight you could get from 1 to 140 in a matter of maybe two weeks, and from there it’s the long grind to 152.
Yes, but be prepared to grind ridiculously hard.
