Okay, I’m a fan of the REQ system (apparently an unpopular opinion) because it makes it not as easy to just get every single piece of armor in the game. I have approximately 90 helmets and 90 armors, and it’s getting a little bit cluttered. I kind of expected there to be some form of organization scheme, but nope, nothing. I would love to have an organization scheme where I can alphabetize the armors, keep all of the armors together. I have two Valkyrie armor skins (default and another) and I can’t compare the two without going halfway across the world to try to find it. If I just had Valkyrie in the V-section, and the skins after the classic, I’d be pretty content. I’m all about that organization, man, I can’t deal with this kind of clutter.
Agreed on both points, I like the req system and some organization would be very nice indeed
Yeah, it’s a complete mess. The armor and helmets especially.
The Reach style UI was great, you selected a helmet, the options would appear for it. Case closed. There was no list of 100 helmets where often the only difference was a paint job.
Best way to have this would be to group things. You have 3 sets of Recruit armor? Ok, select Recruit and the see your skins to select one. Oh and I wish they’d stop churning out armor, it’s basically gotten to the point of quality over quantity, and making it a chore to go through them. I want to decide between two sets, but have to scroll along a poorly designed UI and search for it… Awesome job team. Maybe for an encore you can design me a square tire.
I think Reach had the best and most customisation options simply because you could select from a small but varied pool and really make your own Spartan
