Yes those playlists with double XP weekends are turned of, instead there’s a permanent 7 on the 7th playlists and in there you might be able to play Braaaains.
I played some brains, was so fun.
Free trial? You have the game now. No free trial period or any some such. This isn’t PS+.
Rumble pit has infection in it
I know that Bungie used to do it for Halloween every year(that was the best part of my Halloween’s) but they haven’t done that in years, or switch out the double xp weekends. So your best bet is to try and get it off of rumble pit.

16 man Living Dead on Halloween and Ranked living dead was one of the most fun moments in Halo 3.
Although halo 3 is an old game I believe it should still be updated example being some infection or double exp weekends. There are still plenty of people that still play halo 3 daily. Would love to see these things still show up in H3
