Can I get banned for lagging out? Lag is unbearable on stable 200Mb+ connection

The first week I played everything was perfect in terms of connection. Then they updated the game and since then I will lag so much that I can barely play the game. My mms stays low and framerate remain high but I am lagging and rubberbanding. It is not my connection and it is not my hardware requirements being too low. My connection is very stable and high speed and my computer is more than capable of running this game on the settings I use. Today I got lagged out of a game while I was using double XP, so I not only lost my double XP(Big Team, long game) now I am worried that I might get banned because I’ve heard of similar things happening to others in these forums. Can I not play now at the risk of being banned for the terrible server connection that has nothing to do with me? This is ridiculous. Anyways why are we banning people for leaving games to complete game mode-specific challenges instead of just letting people choose a game mode… None of this makes any sense. I already spent money on the BP but If this is how we are going to be treated for trying to play the game how can I justify spending more?

Edit: For clarification, I do have good matches too but it’s not enough to justify playing. A majority of my matches have some kind of connection issues. Some are worse than others.

I think they said there would be a patch for it on the 8th but it has been pretty bad and getting worse almost daily lol

Would be nice to have a region lock function for matchmaking.

Reason I say this, ive been on some questionable servers that are def not U.S servers and the ping/lag/de-sync is miserable.

Or perhaps it was U.S servers and people are VPNing or ending up on U.S servers and lagging it out.
Not sure, but a region lock function would be nice and would clean up the servers a bit possibly
