I was banned because of my profile picture and I’m really sorry if I offended anyone and I had recently got a warning for being toxic and was banned after I grew more active in the server i thought it was my internet (discord crash and had to restart but I didn’t allow it because it slowed my rig down) and let it slide but after an hour or two the halo server icon was completely gone i tried to get on contact with stkrboy but I was unable to, and I promise the mods in the server that I would walk on thin ice (I was told to wait for a month or two to appeal to the unban)

Hello there, I’m looking to appeal a ban on the official Halo discord.
Last year, I made a comment of that “mods are gay” as a joke, and I was permanently banned. I deeply regret my actions and I really miss the community. It’s the only way I play Halo MCC due to the popularity of the server and the communication that happens when in competitive or cooperative play… I would really like to get back into the server with a second chance. I have been on Xbox Live for 13 years, pushing 14 and Halo has been a vital game in that duration for a huge chunk of it. I would also like to stay that I am pro - love. I do not discriminate against people of niche groups and minorities. The LGBT community spices games and communities up and brings a different perspective to it all, in a good way. The issue isn’t it being directed at us, but that ‘gay’ was used a pejorative. Being gay/bi/trans/ace/etc isn’t a bad thing, it’s a part of who someone is. Using it as an insult (even jokingly) reinforces cultural bias against the community and won’t be tolerated.

Just to clarify, if you mean joining on a new account then that is not allowed. Per the rules of the server, which largely follow the rules here, alternate accounts to bypass bans are not permitted.

I really enjoyed my time with them, and this is my favourite game. Would be really cool if we can set a time on this ban.
