I made a new account recently because mine expired. I was searching Team Slayer with a friend and then I got a pop up saying I have been banned from matchmaking for a week… I know I could just wait the week out but why should I if I wasn’t doing anything illegitimate. I was wondering if there is anywhere I can appeal the ban?

As for the ban appeal thing, not really, the ban hammer, to say the least for Halo 3, it extremely accurate, if you got banned, you did something wrong.
I made it 3 days ago and I really didn’t. Unless making people rage quit can be perceived as cheating, I see no reason as to why I was banned.

I have no need to host boot on a practically dead game. I was leveling up my account(my old account was a 50 with 1200 slayer exp) and level 30-40’s have a habit of rage quitting when they’re getting slaughtered.

He doesn’t need to boot anyone, I’ve played tons of games with him and he has never cheated once.

I have no idea what caused it… I can only think of the banhammer mistaking people rage quitting for a few games in a row as me host booting them. I know for a fact I wasn’t doing anything illegitimate.
