Is it just me and my squad? Does anyone else LOVE having an extremely fun and unique game type that brings nostalgia and new experiences to an old game? It seems like there are a lot of people playing this two-week long playlist because games load SO FAST! Also, how cool is it that all of these maps were created by Halo fans! I haven’t played one map of the 10-15 or so that I have counted playing that I have not enjoyed. PROPS TO THE CREATIVES IN OUR COMMUNITY that created these maps!
QUESTION FOR 343: Can we either keep Husky Raid or can you add a constant CTF playlist on Halo 5 maps? I feel that there is only CTF on BTB or Arena, but Arena is only pistols and BTB is only on big maps. Can we please keep this fun and community driven playlist?

Castle Wars is a CTF too and is a linear game as well. It’s just not a Fiesta game.
Honestly, as much as I’d like Husky Raid to stick around longer, it’s been up for a nice amount of time and I’m happy with that. On that note, Warzone Assault I wish would stick around longer. A weekend and then it’s gone? Ouch! Why not let it stay as long as the Arena rotationals?
If it were to stay I hope that they would replace one of the existing fiesta playlists because 3 fiesta playlists at a time is a bit much. If I want to play a social game with a few of my friends, our current options are fiesta, Grifball, or Infection. Quick play has a party limit, so there are currently no non-gimmick social playlists that a party of three can play

I agree. They should take a long hard look at the analytics of what people play and keep those in. No need to do a rotation if the community wants to play. I would even be fine if they did a rotation of all super fiesta play lists every two weeks.

As a solo player, Warzone Assault can turn into a straight up bloodbath. I have had several games where my team gets spawn camped for an entire round, the other team lets us capture a base at the end of that round, then they spawn camp and kill until the last second of the next round, etc until the core is exposed. They know full well we would never actually get the core, they are just extending the bloodbath as long as possible.
The other team will have multiple players with 40+ kills and my team will have multiple players with 30+ deaths. It sucks to be toyed with for almost 20 minutes by an enemy team because I am placed with an absolutely clueless team time and time again.

I’d say the majority of my games have been vs teams of at least 5, but I’ve run into a few 10 and 12’s as well. I’ve not actually run into the situations you’ve mentioned yet though, these teams just get things done as quickly as possible. Perhaps due to knowing the result of such actions since it’s what cost them 12-team Warzone back in the day, and so only “certain kinds” of teams will intentionally delay it.
Husky Raid was a similar game in my experiences too actually; Capture the Flag games I’ve often had the undesirable situation where a team would get the flag, then hold it until Overtime kicks in, and continue to hold it until the last five seconds before running it in. But in Husky Raid? Almost 200 games, I’ve had it happen once. Just once. People seemed to be taking the game honestly and stuff for the most part and going for flag captures even after they got their first and it being clear the other team wasn’t going to be able to do much; though I may wager a guess in that due to the RNG of the gametype, anything can change so why risk the other team spawning with a Gavel and potentially turning the tide?
Those sorts of turnabout games are actually some of my favorites. Enemy gets a flag in the first minute, hold out 'till near the end, then suddenly we capture a flag too and deny them a victory. Usually ends up with a Tie, but that’s better than a loss!
Sorry to be on the minority here, But I really just don’t want this playlist to stay, If it was still in action sack then I think I would rather have that stay, obviously with some different game types in action sack but I would have a higher chance of this mode popping up compared to how it rarely popped up before. I get the community finds enjoyment in this. But there’s been WAY too much fiesta based stuff becoming permanent on this game, they really need to tone it down a bit and show something a bit more varied. A playlist with normal objectives becoming permanent in social is something I would REALLY like to see since playing normal objectives in matchmaking is now impossible since the only time you can play some of the objectives is core play which comes back like every half a year (I know team arena has objectives but they’re designed in a more competitive environment). I would want it to expand a bit as well since 4v4 assault isn’t even a THING anymore in this game.

Castle Wars is also the best game mode to knock out Mongoose Destroyer
For me there are no currently fun games out so I went back to alot of older games and by far the most fun Ive had is playing husky raid. Its the semi competitive very social wacky mayhem that makes halo so much fun. The random weapons make it difficult for a team to complete dominate because all it takes it one person to get the right gun at the right time to hault a complete onslaught. The competitive nature is an absolute blast because its all about advancing and defending, pushing when need be and drawing back which is such a nice break from classic first person shooter objectives. Spawn killing is difficult due to the inevitability that player will spawn in with a weapon that can instantly kill your rather then being pinned down due to overwhelming forces. The only change there needs to be is a balance of snipers which can create dread and frustration. They are a valuable asset to the game but the most fun maps are the horseshoe shaped maps because it forces snipers to always be in killing range of rockets and grenades. The long striaght maps where you can easily see the players come out of their spawn from a safe distance need to go. After that its a great game mode and by far the most fun for me and as long as they keep it, I’ll keep playing halo 5
