halo hasn’t been to strong in the graphics department compared to many other 360 games. now with the release of battlefield 3 we have seen how good a games graphics can get. and im not a very techy person so i dont understand why halo cant have good graphics. with halo 4 i would really want to see a new graphics engine or whatever. even the wii u has good graphics for god sake, and i don’t think that graphics make a game but it certainly adds to the experience. I would really like seeing fantastic graphics in H4, some jaw dropping scenes or something

yes i have halo wars, i actually really like it. however i was refering to the first person shooter halos. and halo reach cannot be compared to most games, it really needs a better engine if it wants to compete with other games next year
I kind of wish Halo was one of those games like God Of War that is known for its awesome graphics. But if it reduces campaign, multi player, or any form of gameplay potential, then no. They should always be better with every new game but not so much better as to reduce other things.
Ever stopped fighting for a moment and gazed into the Skybox and Visage of Visegrad on Halo: Reach?
Ever stopped fighting and looked at the Conifer Trees and Water within the Ark in Halo 3?
Ever went to Theater to look at the areas that are hardly ever visited?
Halo’s Art Design has been vastly improving over the years and I’m sure judging by the idea that we are entering the Reclaimer Trilogy Phase means that we will be seeing vast amounts of landscapes and skyboxes. You must not be working properly if you think that recent Halo Games have had bad Graphics. The detail in even the smallest of objects like a Shade Turret is amazing.

I’m sick of ignorant people like you spamming these forums. If you knew anything, Reach and the CE Remake are pushing the Xbox to the limit. THE GRAPHICS ARE FINE! IT’S ALL ART STYLE! It has nothing to do with the graphics. It has to do with design and Halo even won the award for best visuals last year. Bad graphics are not art style. Bad graphics are what makes a game unplayable. Is Halo unplayable? No. You can see and play just fine. Now shut up.

This. I couldn’t have said it better myself. You want different graphics, play a different series. Halo has a definitive look. There have been changes over the years as technology has allowed, but the look of a Halo game is what MAKES it a Halo game.

I would consider Halo to be one of the best looking games on the 360.
Considering what can be done within the game itself Halo has amazing graphics.
It can, but first you would have to start removing features.
What do you mean “even the Wii U has good graphics?”, it’s got higher specs! It’s Nintendo’s next gen console, why would they just catch up to the 360? They have to surpass it to keep it going in the long run. Besides, Halo has a brilliant art style that separates it from the rest of the brown and grey shooters out there. I’m not sure why you’re complaining or even what you’re really complaining about.

Are you high? Halo has always had awesome graphics. Sure, maybe not the best of the best, but always good. When I saw Halo 2 for the first time, I was blown away at how good everything looked. Same with Halos 3 and Reach.
Reach has great graphics, I’d rather they polished them than destroyed the framerate further by adding in more polygons.
