I was wondering in the next halo game (halo 6) if that there should be skins made from fans to put on our gun. something about halo clans gave me a thought if that they can make clan skins for their guns, that would be crazy. I could understand that some of us would put disturbing skins that most of us wont like. so why not let the 343i verify the weapon skins just to be safe.
one thing to keep in mind is that when putting those skins would require a lot of work to balance, not use lots of scripting, glitching causes or abusive use. So tell me if halo 6 should put this cool idea into the game.

I’d rather they spent their time making content for Halo games instead of moderating weapon skins

Exactly. The extra stuff can come along later when H6 (or equivalent) is polished up.
Aside from the fact that 343 would never implement something that they couldn’t monetize, regular weapon skins are bad enough already.
I hate not being able to tell what weapon my opponent is using because my opponent has something that’s too red, or the skin makes it look like another weapon.
No more pizza skins. No more fries, no more of this horrendous, Call of Duty based garbage

Like a longer campaign with longer levels…
Instead of Halo 5 COD style levels and campaign length.

Well since I based on said that they can verify skins that are not based on copying the one they had, for an example 343 skins only obtained by the developers is that they can try to copy that then 343i wont verify the based copy or abused skin.

This is super do-able and would not be a hindrance to further content development and game support. It wouldn’t take a huge team of moderators to vet skins because not everyone would bother making there own skins and even less of the people who do make skins will be high enough quality and interesting enough to be added into a halo game for everyone to use. That being said player made skins in the game would probably not include little Johnny writing his name on the side of his assault rifle or edgelord-troll master stamping a peen on everything.
343i is trying to make the Halo franchise as competitive and relevant as possible (which is why there are so many similarities to other games in Ssports or trying to break out into eSports). A lot of these games, developers, and publishers take inspiration from Valve. The introduction of hats in Team Fortress 2 showed Valve there is a huge market and community for cosmetics, and that led to loot boxes, weapons sinks, and a micro-economy. Recently a single sniper rifle skill in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive sold for over $61,000 USD (CS:GO fan drops $61K on rifle skin signed by tournament MVP - Polygon)
Given that 343i is trying to make halo games that caters to old fans, attract new fans and that are apart of the competitive eSports scene I can see them implementing a way for players to make their own skins and there is no reason not to. Halo has always seen as a game that promoted player/fan expression and involvement in and out of their games (armor permutations, forge, theatre mode, file sharing, machinima, publishing compilations of short stories etc) so user made weapon skins would just be a new addition to their template… which has been demonstrated by other games to be easy, viable, popular, and very lucrative. Same thing can be done with maps but I doubt Microsoft and 343i would share the wealth (CS:GO and Valve have portions of the proceeds from loot boxes and passes for map rotations, apart of “operations,” do to the players who designed the skins included in the loot boxes and the maps being promoted by an “operation.” Also when a player sells a skin they own, the money spent by the player buying it goes to the player who put up the sale and valve receives a portion from the transaction).

Actual camoflauge schemes for the environment you are in would be nice
Or perhaps personalizations to them like you see in real world weapons (or in the case of Blue Team, Nornfang and Oathsworn)
