For all my fellow veterans I feel I speak for the majority of us when i say this. The death noises in halo 3 were some of the most classic and entertaining parts of halo 3. With that being said I feel that 343 should strive to bring back this minor feature into Halo Infinite if not just for the memes, but for for the community as a whole. There is nothing more casually satisfying than a random death noise out of nowhere to break the tension of clearing a campaign mission or better yet surviving in multiplayer. Some of the best times i’ve had playing halo after a long day of stress hearing those noises and breaking my solace into laughter are some of the most memorable moments that i’ve had with friends and members of the community. It is with this post that I beseech you 343 to please bring back the death noises to Halo Infinite, you don’t even need to update them. Use the same wave files its totally fine, actually it would be even better.

Yeah I hope 343 brings the classic death sounds back, I honestly think they might already have them in the game.
IMO Halo 3 and reach had entertaining and satisfying death sounds on top of physics. Halo 5 and 4 have underwhelming death interactions that dont feel satisfying. I always crack a smile when several different death cries / animations play in reach / halo 3, but for 4 and 5 I just dont feel it. Bungie payed so much attention to little details like that and it only served to extend the games love factor from the fans. I hope 343 drops their obsession with “visceral” try hard style of sound design like making almost all of the human weapons sound like generic real world guns as well as making all the death cries so flimsy and uninteresting.
Bring back the bungie sound design that never got boring and always brought fun to the chaos that is halo multiplayer =)
