Can Flood return for Warzone/Firefight in infinite

I thought Warzone in Halo 5 was a pretty good bit of content for players who enjoy PvE, but I honestly felt it got stagnant after a while because there were so few enemy types. Killing Covenant and Prometheans is fun, but since War Games/Warzone games are simulations I’d love to see more enemy types to mix up the game modes. Maybe drop in a proto-gravemind or even a fully realized gravemind as a boss! Always wanted to kill one of those myself

Gravemind boss could be cool. Not sure how to design it though. Plus, bullet sponges are kind of a no-go in classic Halo. Really didn’t like the Halo 5 boss fights if I’m being honest. But a Gravemind boss where you need to destroy many lower health nodes of some kind could be fun.

I’m KINDA on the same page. In mythic they needed a small nerf, but otherwise warden assassinations are so smexy.
Also I think it’d be awesome for our Spartans to have a training course for flood infestation repelling. I mean some Spartans are SPECIALLY trained for flood security. So much so they have protocol for infested Spartan. A nuke.the community has been DYING for a flood map.

Warzone should be more like raids.

Dude… That’s an idea. That works with my FF idea.

So basically if Master C is running around a ring, deploy Spartans there to the open world. Objectives with rising scale difficulty, and then extraction.

HOWEVER, with your idea, maybe if you finish the final LASO objective (Force field activated for hud changes)

It will unlock the final fight, which could be a flood variety or some banished variant with objectives to complete tot take it down. That. Would. Rule.

Give me missions like the suicide Spartan III mission, a Reach mission, and give me that damn good mission in Shadows of Reach.

I only sorta agree on the bullet sponge bit just because Halo 3 scarabs were sponges. I think those scarabs worked though because they were quick to finish when stunned.

If Warzone Boss rounds were mechanically more like Halo 3 scarab battles I think they would’ve been more enjoyable. In Halo 5 you don’t stun bosses, bosses stun you. That’s how it got a little annoying for me (ಥ_ಥ)

I want the return of the flood no matter how !

Give me anything Flood in any game mode or situation and I’ll be happy tbh!

I thought the idea of Warzone was interesting but found it to be poorly thought out due to pay to win elements and the annoying bullet sponge AI then the uneven start’s that didn’t encourage players to fight for weapons as much as they should since they could just spawn with them. Warzone should have been something similar to BTB but with AI. I found it weird that I couldn’t steal AI vehicles.

Agreed. If they could redesign warzone from the ground up without having it focus on req packs and maybe toss in some Spartan Ops’ style lore reasoning for those that want it, it could be amazing.

I want the single player to have a scary flood return. I’m not a fan of all the other weird enemies in the game other than rhe covenant.

I think both the Req system and the Req Level systems were kinda flawed. Not sure sure how I’d fix the Req Level issues in relation to balance, but not being able to use vehicles I have that others currently were during a game isn’t all that fun.

Same with weapons. Level 8 weapons paired with items being single use meant I almost never got to enjoy the cool things the game had to offering that aspect, which is a shame

It’d be a cool opportunity to drop in the Flood Juggernaut that was cut from Halo 2 also! I didn’t think about that guy until just now (˃̵͈̑ヮ˂̵͈̑)

Would like to see flood and the prometheans/sentinel variants to make a return as well as some of the sentinel types from the books.

Well, it actually got added into Fireteam Raven, and a lot of really cool Flood got added into Halo Wars 2! I recommend checking out both of those games if you like the Flood!

I like classic first person games and some 3rd person hack and slashers. I didn’t actually know about Ft Raven untill last season in MCC, but I’m not to hot on RTS games like Halo Wars.

I’ve thought a lot about RTS since the first halo wars though! Itd be excellent if there was a first person RTS where you could personally experience the battle as you dictate it’s flow

They tried to do that in a way with Arbiter in halo wars one. Not POV mind you, but fun none the less. However I agree. It’s be nice to experience those titles in another way. Black ops food it for first person dead ops arcade.
