I know people hate this topic but it’s beyond the joke. Now if you’re one of those who don’t experience this then good for you. But for some of us when it happens every second game you HAVE to understand the frustration.
The entire match the opposite team were in our core. I mean in there, like it’s as if they were dropped on their head and they don’t know what the core is. They don’t attack it at all whatsoever
it makes the game impossible, unplayable and unenjoyable. I’m going to leave it at that since its common sense but surely something can be done. Please. It’s plaguing the game for me and a lot of others.
And please don’t anyone dare to defend this crap. You’re a moron if you do.
Maybe make a solo playlist for both the warzone gamemodes so no fireteams can join like a mercenary mode or fix the matchmaking where if you’re in a group of 12 you fight the same size fireteam on the opposite team.
It just doesn’t happen often enough, I’ve had like 2 matches I could maybe consider farming. But none of those have ever had me pinned done with nothing to combat it, I can spawn reqs , I can kill people before they come in the base, I could always combat it. And that’s the thing, if you are combatting it then it’s not farming… It’s like warzone assault, if they are trying to push your core then people don’t moan about being farmed do they? Get an invisibility and capture the opposite armoury, your team will thank you later…

Well the last match I had I joined a math that just started. I was stuck at level 1 reqs for the first half of the match. I’d simply get snipered when I spawned, or shotgunned, or assassinated etc etc.
but like you mentioned you think it doesn’t happen often enough. Sometimes I’d literally have 5 or 6 matches in a row of being farmed. It amazes me that some say that they don’t experience therefor everyone else must be wrong. I’m not saying you’re like that specially but I get several farmed matches a day sometimes. Nothing to do with skill, just bad luck team against a team that only wants to make people hate the crap out of the game.
i suppose to some it isn’t a problem, I know none of my friends play halo 5 anymore because of it (and lack of splitscreen), no wonder majority of teams quit

except 343 has released numbers on how often occurs (you look at score difference and match length to say if its farming or not) and its actually pretty low.
It does for sure suck when it does but there is no real way you can combat it.

I don’t care what 343 release, for me and my friends majority of matches are farming matches. And on top of that in Aus only team arena and normal warzone find matches. Take out warzone and you only have team arena to play. Games are meant to be fun, not a -Yoink–fest of spawn kills and waiting 25mins for the enemy team to kill your team or everyone quits.

theres no way you can just be stuck on lvl 1 if they have more than lvl 6? Maybe one individual who is kicking -Yoink- will have a much higher level but there’s never that much difference unless you are making no contribution

Well it happened, is there a way to look over my last match. I got level 2 reqs when the enemy team had 400 points roughly, I wish I was making it up. Usually I start at level 3 if the game started but since it was early it must have just had me had 1.
was stuck using my pistol for a good half of the match. I couldn’t make a contribution like I usually would because I was getting spawn killed. Hence the lack of req progression. I usually get to level 9 each match, this one I maxed at 4 by the end.

Yeh there is, it was a horrible match , but it wasn’t farming, they weren’t a whole company and it was only 15mins which is a normal time. Just learn to combat it man, if you’re getting wrecked then stay in the base and let them come to you.
No i was i on a team that rushed into the core and killed everyone and took positions every where and just killed everyone spawning in that is most definitely farming
i don’t consider the other team staying outside your core farming because they may not want t pointlessly die

But they all swarmed the core and stayed there? If they’re picking off spawn points that is definitely farming.

I’ve played a Fireteam in warzone about two months ago and they already had full Achilles but they still farmed us. I’m pretty sure most of you know who I’m talking about.

According to your service record, you have ONE game of the past 11 Warzone matches (obviously I am excluding Firefight) that your team brought in less than 300 points. That one match is your most recent. If you ask me, this looks like another case of one person trying to get a little attention to a topic that is not an issue. Warzone is my most played game type and I have only ever been in one match that was a “farm-fest”. maybe two. This is not that big of an issue. If it is a problem for you, simply hit up HaloLFG.com and find a small team. Having a fireteam of simply 5 that is coordinated can normally break a spawn trap easily with just a little team work.
Beyond that, I have been in SEVERAL games where the enemy team is simply just bad and we over take all three bases. I previously needed AI kills so my team and I would just kill the bosses as they spawn while keeping the enemy spartan team contained. Afterall, nothing is more annoying than having somebody come steal the kill with one shot after we do all the work. The only AI I need to kill now is the Warden. Guess what, if it looks like i can control all three main bases and then wait for the Warden - I am going to do it. That isn’t “farming”, it is completing the game objectives as they are laid out. Some of us want to try to unlock all the emblems which means we have to complete all the commendations, which means I am going to do whatever I need to so I can get a Warden kill now.
Limit Spartan teams or add Social mode w/o tracking is about the only way to help. Otherwise, nope, ppl have been, and will continue to farm/stat boost.
