I just watched this pretty sweet video showing off a bunch of banished and UNSC units getting infected. What I am curious to know is whether or not DLC units can be infected? I would love to see an infected Grizzly, Mantis, etc. I didn’t see the hornet or vulture being infected in this video. Can anyone comment as to whether they have seen this happen in Terminus FF? I’ve tried with Mantis and Collosi before, but I didn’t have much success.
That would give them an ‘un-called-for’ immunity!
Probably had to make some cuts to the infection mechanic is my guess. I’ll try to get around to doing some testing cause you got me curious here.
Would that give DLC leaders a technical advantage over regular leaders in some case?
Have you done any more testing?
Maybe with Colony’s goliaths? Do they turn from Gorillas to Monkeys?

If you read the Phoenix logs, it specifically says the only units that can’t get infected are forerunner machines (sentinels, engineers) lekgolo (hunters) super units (scarab, condor) ultimate units (Decimus drop, omega team) and heroes. So every other unit should be fair game.
True I would like to see multiple infected dlc units as there is some variety we have the frost raven,masadon(probably misspelled that but still) ,phantoms, elite enforcers, wraith invaders, ODST (which isn’t dlc but don’t appear in flood rounds same with cyclops and nightingales which kind of makes sense as that might be op in later parts of the match ), cryo troopers and that’s all that I can think about when it comes with dlc units besides heroes
