Can Australian/Japenese participate in signal hunt

Reading the terms and condition of the #HunttheSignal competition/promotion it made no mention of non US/UK or Canadian participation. If this is not available to citizens of other countries, it is rather insulting that the promotion is waved in our faces. The feedback program is still not available to non US and EU residents, the real reason for this thread, it seems that 343 are rather pleased just to ignore other members of the community. Time is running out for any meaningful feedback and possible changes to be implemented. It’s like 343 want to be DICE when all their errors and lack of humility come into consideration. MCC matchmaking still broken and Halo championships cancelled etc.

I dunno but i’m in Australia and it takes me to a page that says ‘Incorrect Platform’ after all this DOS booting stuff… I’m on PC tried firefox and chrome, tried it on my tablet and it just takes me to a screen where it says 360, I can’t type anything and I can’t click on anything…

It appears to be open to anyone with a smart phone… I suggest you try the website on a smartphone.

Interesting, after re reading the terms and conditions it does not say only those in the territory but that. It is open to anyone in the ‘territory’.

The territory of defined at the bottom of the first paragraph:
“…for the purposes hereof, “Territory” shall mean: The United Kingdom, the 50 United States (includes D.C.) and Canada.”

They’re not intentionally looking over other areas, most of the time it is because of stupid legal issues, country laws or data protection that prevent stuff liked this from being done. Germany, for example, has very strict data protection laws regarding how details of users is stored and shared. Maybe one day it will be better :frowning:
