Can a mod pls take this post down

Please 343 let halo 6 use this art style 50 old and new.Btw please let red team be in halo 6 with blue team,Osiris and the swords

Plz 343

  1. HW2 doesn’t really gave its own art style - they just reused the H2A cutscene models and build around them.

  2. As Halo 6 will most likely play during HW2, there’s no way that characters from HW2 could appear in H6 before the ending.

please, just think for a moment before you make threads like these. With a little bit of logical thinking it’s quite easy to not get your expectations that high. But some people will just ignore all that and set their expectations extremely high, just to be disappointed and blame 343 for everything.

How about this for logical thinking?

  1. H2A art style highly praised.

  2. Halo 5 art style dragged through the mud, so much so they’ve been adding classic armor and weapons that have also been getting praised.

  3. They like feedback and making changes based on feedback (I should know, I’m in the feedback program, and anyone who’s been playing Halo 5 since launch should know this too. They listen).

  4. So it would make sense, logically, that with Halo 6, they would go with the more popular art style that people have been praising from Halo 2 Anniversary … or perhaps a mix of it. Toss some in there.

At least that’s what 343 should do. I mean, what their logical thinking should be. They know how people want their games to look, so if people are “disappointed and blame 343 for everything” that’s not because they got their expectations too high, that’s because 343 are the ones not thinking logically and listening to the pages & pages, thread after thread, seeing the screenshots after screenshots of comparisons posted here and elsewhere making that case and asking for it. I already know they had a plan for Halo’s 4-6 to have consistent and unique look & style, but if it’s proving unpopular, they should listen to their fans, right? Not just keep perusing some endeavor no one likes just because it was your original idea. And we know they know better because they did have bigger plans for Spartan Ops, but they gave that up once it proved unpopular, so …?

So yeah, if this guy is disappointed because Halo 6 continues with an incredibly unpopular artstyle while 2 other recent Halo games in H2A & HW2 look amazing, that’s totally on 343.

And just to be clear, I do like their artstyle. Especially Halo 4, it’s a gorgeous game. I just REALLY like the look of Halo 2 Anniversary & Halo Wars 2; the latter looks like modern Halo, not alternate universe Halo. And I think Halo 5 artistically was a step backwards from Halo 4.

I agree, due to the positive feedback, it’s definitely possible that 343 will take some inspiration fromit, but not that they will just go back to it.

Some people on here just have very unrealistic expectations and expect 343 to change everything, including things that wouldn’t make sense (HW2/H6 crossover, Jul resurrection etc.). Being hopeful about certain things like adding the old elite armor for the arbiter’s elites is fine, but I feel like some people will never be satisfied. Like you said, 343 listens to feedback, but still a lot of people will have smth to complain/hate on. Even if they would take some clues from the H2A artstyle, some people would be disappointed, because it wasn’t enough for them and they expected more.

Also, like I said, the HW2 artstyle is not an artstyle they decided on, because they thought it was nice, but because they could reuse their old models. If you don’t realize that, then you might be mislead to thinking that they went back to the old artstyle completely, and therefore have different expectations for the next Halo game. But if you take a minute to figure this out, then you can both, have realistic expectations, and give realistic feedback/criticism (like “I want the arbiter’s phenotype to be changed back” vs “If you don’t change the whole artstyle, you really let the fans down!!!11!!!eleven!!”).

Your “logical thinking” is dumb

I really enjoyed HW2 art style. I can see them using that art style because the covenant has been weaken and the arbiter can handle them, so we will probably be fighting forerunner and banished if i had to guess.

The first time I saw HW2 art design I was so happy because it was so refreshing, then I got sad because I figured it was only because (I assumed) it was set in an earlier time, but THEN I found out it takes place after H5 and got really excited because that means it’s very possible that H6 will have it as well.

^^^^ All that.

This art style is so gritty bringing back the true military feel of Halo, its so great.

I haven’t played HW2 so I’m not sure what the art style really looks like, but I don’t mind H5 artstyle

I’m certainly not opposed to the idea. I’m personally a big fan of the Halo Wars 2 art style. I just don’t see it happening until after the Reclaimer Saga is complete.

Though if I had my way I think I would want the Halo 2 Anniversary art style in a modern Halo game. It’s what comes to mind when I think about what the Natural progression of Halo’s visuals should have been.

I haven’t played Halo Wars 2, so I can’t vouch for it. However, I do hope they change it from what we have in Halo 5 to something more grittier or classic (ex: like Reach or H2A). Either one will be fine with me. What we have now is just too bright, shiny, and colorful.

HW2’s art style is largely more similar to those games you mentioned, yeah. The thing it really borrows strongly from in 343’s art style is the Forerunner architecture. But the UNSC and Banished visuals are mostly the classic style.

I agree. I miss that gritty military look. It’s too clean now.

I’m alright with that. I think their Forerunner visuals are pretty good, so I’m all for this this.
