Background: I’m systematically going through HALO CE, the HALO CE LASO playlist, and the Master Cheif collection playlist to try and get all of the achievements while the level is fresh in my memory.
I completed a fast run of the level Halo and my information updated on Waypoint. I then completed the level in the LASO playlist and it didn’t give me the achievement for par score. Waypoint doesn’t reflect a higher score either.
I just completed Truth and Reconciliation in 23 minutes and waypoint didn’t update with the score or time or provide me with the achievement for par score (3 minutes short of time).
After looking around it looks like I’ll need to re-do my fast run of Truth and Reconciliation and hope the time updates, even though if I go to “Last Carnage Report” I can see my score and time. It also counted towards the weekly quest of getting over 20,000 in a campaign mission (Twenty Grand).
My question is, since it didn’t count my score from my LASO run of Halo, will I need to restart the LASO playlist to get it to count? I’d rather restart now than go through the whole thing for it not to give me the achievement…
but honestly I dont know what you did wrong… you should be able to just start the halo: ce laso playlist, under the playlist options, and go from there
i’m not playing laso, but since it’s all skulls on, could it be, that the zero multiplier skulls canceled out the progress (although i find it strange, that it would then still count for the challenge)?
You don’t need to be in the laso playlist to get par score and time achievements. Just replay the mission on easy difficulty outside the playlist to get the par time. Same for score. Replay on whatever difficulty you want and pick the skulls you want.
You don’t need to play LASO to get par time or par score achievements. For par times, play on Easy and just gun it through the level as fast as possible (look up speedrun techniques if need be). For par scores, play on Heroic with a couple scoring skulls on and try to get to the end as fast as possible while killing everything in sight.
DO NOT TURN ON THE BANDANNA SKULL! It will disable time and score achievements.
Thank you all for your replies. The reason I’m playing through LASO is to try and go through as few playthroughs as possible to get all of the achievements. The best way for me to be efficient was to play through the level on legendary as fast as possible to get the “Goat Roped” achievement then beat it on LASO after getting a good sense of the level. I plan to go back to any level on easy for the par time once I’ve unlocked “Goat Roped”.
As for the LASO achievement, I guess that since it still counts toward the playlist completion I’ll just have to hope that it counts toward the achievement completion as well.
