Can 343i do anything about Strikepack users?

Can 343i do anything about Strikepack users?

I ask this sincerely since I hear it’s difficult to detect. However, it seems kind of plain to see in some cases. I jumped into Reddit looking to see if SP had jumped into Infinite and noticed they updated their software to include Infinite now.

I’m seeing some rapid fire Commando users that literally have zero vertical/horizontal recoil. In the Reddit thread some folks were highlighting how nice their recoil-less Commandos were.

It’s sad that people have to cheat in order to feel good about themselves.

If you encounter them, report them. Then 343 can do something about it.

They won’t do anything. If they haven’t addressed issues in 6 months they never will.

Strikepack and Cronus controllers are not considered cheating as per Microsoft guidelines last I checked

Makes sense since Microsoft makes the elite controllers which are completely programmable as well although not quite what strikepack has to offer

Years and years ago in 2017 when halo 5 came out I voiced my concerns about modded controllers and submitted support ticket requesting guidance on the “modded” controllers

And guess what, they never did anything back then and Microsoft has never enforced any rules for controllers

So I’m sorry but that ship has sailed they didn’t care 6 years ago why would they care now?

Took them a month to respond to my case about a cheater, but they definitely did something.

Might not be a Microsoft guideline, but individual companies could make a call on it

Seems like something that might fit into their accessibility strategy, but definitely could cause issues if not used for that purpose.

I mean you can get them at gamestop so they aren’t hard to get

There was also turbo xbox 360 controllers that you could get at Wal-Mart heck i used it when i played mw3 and i didn’t get ban as all it does is act like im pressing the button really quickly

Which strikepack works similarly from the videos I’ve seen

Just looked it up you can also get the strike pack from Wal-Mart as well

Yes oh man you really refreshed my memory of those days, I had it for MW2

The strike pack and Cronus not only provides rapid fire but it has programmable recoil patterns so in my opinion it’s is cheating however in the day and age of crossplay is becoming more and more important to use these controllers to remain competitive

I agree for other games like rainbow 6 siege its kinda necessary

And it could also be argued for accessibility in a certain way

Precisely I thinks it’s just a case that they turn the other way cause banning all modded controllers can open the door for a lot of arguments

Especially in terms of accessibility for those with disabilities

Nice to know these options exist. I hate the recoil on Commandos. I’ll probably go with the Elite controller because they can’t exactly ban their own hardware. If it caused big enough issue they could serve an injunction to the manufacturer. Reporting the player isn’t really right when it’s freely available on the market.

The elite controllers “recoil” control is not as good as strike pack or cronus but the elite controller was developed with scuf gaming controllers who now offer a pack just like strike pack.

I would save your money and specifically buy the strike pack or Cronus

Trust me they aren’t going to ban it, they have been using these crontollwrs for rainbow 6, call of duty, Fortnite, and every other major hype game out there.

You’ve probably ran into more people using them than you think, I personally don’t care enough to spend loads of cash on controllers
