Hey everyone, I have been playing Halo Reach for a long time but recently the more I play, the more I want to get a flaming skull and a nameplate. Also, the challenges are still the the same and some require you to go to Bungie.net which no longer works because everything they have on they’re website is all Destiny stuff. For example, today I looked at the weekly challenge and it was DEDICATION/TIME which requires you to complete 24 daily challenges this week. Well, one of today’s (6/17/15) challenges called LINKED UP WITH BUNGIE.NET obviously requires you to Link your gamertag with Bungie.net and play a game in Halo:Reach Matchmaking. You can see why this shouldn’t be a thing anymore.
Please help show what you think by choosing what you think in the poll I have created here. Thank you.
People who got the nameplates and flames at the time finally get to show it off, leaving reach alone would be nice, however I’m open to new Forge maps and new playlist/changes to play lists.
Voted A and B, but i also want new DLC playlists.
New servers when it gets brought to the One.
Guys other than server maintenance, Reach will not be updated or cared about by 343.
343 Inherited the challenges system from Bungie and it is all automatic and hasn’t been touched in 3 years.
the name plate system and eternal flames was lost when 343 were handed control of the servers from Bungie. They just didn’t give them the system to do it as Blue flames was their parting gift to halo players and I guess they didn’t want 343 to have that ability moving forward.
Don’t get me wrong I would like the ability to change my nameplate too. I am forever stuck with the Bungie Nameplate forever and I am sick of all the kiddies send me messages on how to get one.
I mean absolutely no disrespect but these posts are just a waste of time. Its a 5 year old game made someone who doesn’t care about it anymore and has moved on, managed by a company who is focusing on Halo 5 and supporting MCC.

It will run on the One in a 360 emulation mode so all Matchmaking games will still be peer to peer and nothing will change. To make this a Dedicated Server game would require recoding its core MM engine.
The only servers a Reach game connects to are the 343i servers that push out the match content (voting screen Games and maps, playlists, Game Stats etc etc.) and check the integrity of the game content on each console in the game.
Ah, well I’m hoping that it still gets populated again, I’d love to play some forge games with friends again like the death slide!
They did get rid of some gametypes which makes it literally impossible to get certain achievements.
