Can 343 Tune Armor Abilities?

We know 343 is able to modify the traits of weapons and even vehicles.
But is it possible that they could alter the Armor Abilities as well?
Any info on this would be appreciated. (From Player or Developer)

Post your Wishlist for each Armor Ability. (Not just Camo and JP)
In case you can’t remember, here’s the list of all Halo 4 Armor Abilities:

  • Hologram
  • Hardlight Shield
  • Promethean Vision
  • Jetpack
  • Active Camo
  • Regen Field
  • Auto Sentry

Thruster Pack
Just a slight distance increase.

Promethean Vision
Decrease the radius expansion speed a little more.

Jetpack
Slow down elevation and recharge speed.

Active Camo
Shorten usage period and slow down recharge time.
(I’d rather this be a Powerup instead, but that isn’t happening.)

Auto Sentry
Increase damage intake and RoF slightly.

I want Active camo to be a powerup too. That would work way better. It could be a purple powerup to go with the covenant.

Thruster Pack-Make it go the same distance as the Campaign thrusters.

HLS-Make resistant to DMR fire.

I would fix the jet pack, and make it a bit like the reach one, where you could hover instead. Decrease height a bit,and I think it would be wonderful. Increase recharge time by another 2 seconds.

just fix active camo so you cannot shoot with it in use. Make it so whenever you shoot it uses up the meter.
jetpack is fine. in fact it needs a buff so you can guy up 5 foot cliff without using the whole meter.

Don’t fix what isn’t broken.

Anyways the only change I would make is to buff the Sentry’s rate of fire. Camo, Jetpack, and ProVis are going to be inherently broken no matter what you do with them.

That sounds like a great idea! I’d also make it so it takes a tad longer to recharge.

The jet pack is terrible right now. It needs to be like the one used in rockets and rails.

Jetpack, so it has a bit more fuel. This change would be for Campaign.

There are only 3 AA’s that I really have a problem with which are Camo, Pro vision and the jetpack. Camo should be removed as an AA and should be made a powerup that you pickup like it use to be. Instead of jet pack you should have an AA that just gives you like 2-3x the normal jump height. Promethean vision should just be removed completely.

This would work perfectly. If ProVision had to stay just make the range less than the motion tracker radius and one fast scan depletes the whole meter, with a longer recharge speed. Also Stealth should completely negate PV.

That would be…insanely overpowered…

If PV had to stay that would be a good way to nerf it and would make it a lot more balanced.

Armour abilities, ordinances, perks, specializations are talking about Halo??

They probably can. But i personally think they don’t need to. IMO these AA"s are more balanced then reache’s.

I think making them map pick ups or Ordinance drops would balance them out better.

Yes, they are, but that doesn’t mean that they are perfectly balanced. There are still some issues among them that could use some fixing.

AC- invisible while moving, and visible while standing still…and partial Camo while sprinting?

JP- replace with a vertical thruster with a very strict set altitude: more like a double jump.

PV- decrease range slightly,

Pickups works too.

Active Camo needs to be EXACTLY like it was in Halo 3.

It was perfectly balanced.
