Can 343 put a halo 5 forge PC link on Steam?

Halo 5 forge has little people on it and it might be because a lot of the PC players dont even know about it or how to get it.
When i search halo on steam i see halo spartan strike and halo spartan assault. I read the reviews by players and people are literally begging for more halo on PC.

I made a post about this a while back, and I definitely agree about that.

But I think the best thing would be if they actually put the game on Steam, to make as many people interested in Halo again. Then when they release the next game, they can put it the Windows 10 Store, since there will be far more people that will care about Halo on that point. Though that’s currently not possible since you can only get UWP games from the Windows store.

I swear Microsoft is just plain dumb when it comes to video gaming. They made the worst mistake ever by making Halo 2 only playable on Windows Vista, then they do the exact same thing more than a decade later by making Halo 5 only playable on Windows 10. Granted, W10 is actually a good OS, but H5 has zero PC optimization, terrible mouse controls, etc.

When will they learn? Halo 1 PC has 20-30x the playerbase than Halo 5 Forge. What does that say about your game when a 13 year old PC game/15 year old xbox game has more interest than a free to play, 1 year old game?

Halo could have been the best e-sport FPS, where you all could have made a lot more money. But instead you have bozos running the show by keeping Halo on console (who wants to watch a handicapped FPS, with extreme amounts of aim assist?)

Microsoft is so desperate in trying to make as much money as possible. But their vision is so shortsighted, they don’t see the enormous market in esports.

Keep in mind UWP is what allows them to keep things in sync with both platforms (updates, forge content, user profiles, and crossplay if they ever add it), so this isn’t really feasible unless they make some sort of XBox Live frontend that can be distributed with the game to handle this. (Like a Games for Windows Live 2.0, sadly.)

They aren’t going to put the game on Steam. As far as why the playerbase is so low, it’s because nobody wants to play a first-person shooter on PC that constantly crashes, has no FOV slider, no PC features, and has horrible mouse support. If they at least fixed the crashes, mouse, and added a proper FOV option… the player base would get bigger.
