Can 343 Order Bungie to Create a TU?

Because a majority of the community wants one yet Bungie continunes to procrastinate like a middle east regime.

Just look at the population.

Um, not quite.

Since 343 has taken over Halo: Reach from this point on. In good hands too.

community=bungie forums≠majority

Not only that, but the part of the community that does want a title update has drastically different opinions. Some want armor lock toned down, some want it taken out; some want the bloom removed; some want the return of 1-50; some want no bleed through, etc etc etc. There isn’t any consensus on the “majority’s” title update.

Hence, title updates are so rare in nature to be seen due to the developer struggling to make changes that would keep everyone happy, but never will be. Especially in Halo.

Black Ops has had 6 TU. They had to submit it to microsoft and go through the testing blah blah blah. If Bungie wanted to fix Reach they could have along time ago.

343 cannot order Bungie to do anything. They are two separate development studios under two different publishers.
> There is still a small Bungie team dedicated to matchmaking updates. They are probably working with 343/ Microsoft.

The forum community of neither Waypoint nor B.net surmount to the “majority”. The vast majority are the people who do not post on the forums. The forums are a extremely small % of the community. Because of this smallness, the minority opinion may sometimes be mistaken for the majority. In reality, the people who demand a title update are the vocal minority.
> On top of that, what the majority of “those people” want are exactly that, what they want, not what is needed.
/> i.e. Armor Lock, Bloom, jump height/ moving speed. Changes to these are not what are needed, but are wanted.

Something wanted cannot be something needed, but something needed could be something wanted.

It’s a minority because not all of the players look at forums, but lot of players are wanting for some changes …

But lot of things need to be done with Reach. I appreciate this game but now if nothing is been done, I will be very upset. Really I just think that Bungie, 343i or whatever, have to answer to the people who are asking for something (jut say we are doing something or not, looking who to do it …). Lasts BWU were awful, nothing about everything the community is asking (armor-lock, bloom, weapons, a TU, maps). No Bungie employe speak on the forum (except Jeremiah for Matchmaking).

Using the excuse that ‘the majority’ is not the Waypoint or B.net community is inaccurate when the ‘the majority’ of gamers these days are complacent just to get the latest game and could care less about IMPORTANT game play details…

…which dedicated fans do care about and should be listened to…

> CWaka"]It’s a minority because not all of the players look at forums, but lot of players are wanting for some changes

I think a lot of the players who really care about the game go to the forums however a lot of them are purely immature gamers and act like their 12 years old

> No Bungie employee speak on the forum (except Jeremiah for Matchmaking).

I would not want to go to bnet forums if i was a bungie employee. Their so polluted with immaturity that its not even worth reading 95% of the crap posted there.

The fact of the matter is people can demand all they want but it isn’t their game to change. We can meerly suggest hings we’d like to see.

What was really wrong with H3?? not much they needed two TU’s that was all. there isn’t much wrong with reach granted a few issues such as grenades being highly over powered and the over use of AL which I have to say is becoming used less and less now that people are learning how to counter it and finding out that all it does is postpone your death.

COD sucks that bad that they have to do 6 TU’s already…com on you can’t be that silly. BUNGIE always fixes what needs to be fixed all it takes is some patience and time. They like to get it right the first time unlike COD who puts a crappy game out every year and the people who play it pay 60 bux every time for the same game re-modeled.

It is most definitely not the majority that wants a Title Update.

Bungie made a game that they like and that a lot of people like. If you don’t like it, you have other options available. There are many people who do like this game the way it is, and you don’t just change the core of a game because some people aren’t happy with the changes.

For those who liked Halo 3 better, well, you still have the option of actually playing Halo 3 if you didn’t realize that.

The game is great. No major changes needed that would require a title update. This is the best Halo game made to date.

It is the best one but it did many steps back too. It’s certainly not perfect.

It’s just that people cannot except change. However, does not mean they should have to go back to Halo 3, yes they have the option, but not all of them want to go back, because the future is Reach. Bungie did not make a game that everyone likes. It’s not the core of the game that’s the problem, those who dislike the core are just cannot except change, but things like when a spammer in a 1v1 wins the encounter, things like that have been addressed and should be looked at and fixed.

People who can’t give proper reasoning are just whiners because it does not suit their wants. Eg, Battle Rifle was better then the DMR.

Gears of War 2 had title updates plenty of times because most people liked the Gears Of War 1 style, but the CORE game play remained and still felt like Gears Of War 2 and not 1. This is achievable in Halo: Reach aswell.
