Clearly, They know they need a new senior net code dev as they are actively looking for one. There are so many issues with the netcode. I have confirmed, at least for my network so this is anecdotal, that I have 0 packet loss, 12ms latency…yet, die behind walls, 1 hit mele killed, and mele others with no damage.
So, either the devs don’t know how to handle packet loss from one client in the game, working things out, a general garbage game/server communication API, a low tick rate (confirmed) …like what are you guys doing?
A simple “We know its an issue and its in our roadmap” would bring a lot of ease to the community.
