Can 343 just pick a core gameplay and stick with it for their entire trilogy?
I don’t care how bad the core is that they choose to use for Halo4, 5, and 6. I would just ask that they do not deviate from the core they have developed in Halo4.
Sure, I may hate it. I may quit on the Halo franchise, but at least the people that like Halo4’s core game will get to play it through to the end of the new trilogy.
I’m tired of watching people fall in love with a Halo game, and then never getting to play that core game again as the new Halo game is developed. I’m tired of watching Halo try to establish itself every new game. Make a great core game for Halo4, and believe in it.
I believed in the core principles of Halo1 and 2 for Halo. I wish Halo developers had believed in it too. Don’t screw over the new fans of the Halo4-6 trilogy by changing the core every single game.
I’ve been phased out, but I hope Halo won’t be gone by the time my son is old enough to play it because it has no identity.
