Can 343 change how it handles bans?

Every few games I play has either my teammates quitting or the other team quitting. So when it’s 2v4, there’s really no fun in continuing to play, so I’d rather quit and join a new match. But 343 counts someone quitting out of 4v4 the same as someone quitting out of a 1v4 game. That doesn’t make sense. You shouldn’t be punished for quitting out of a 2v4 or 1v4, especially when you’re on the team that’s down numbers. Can anything be done about this?

In Halo 5, there is a “soft forfeit” feature that lets you leave matches without risk of ban if someone on your team has already left. So as long as you aren’t the first person on your team to quit, you should be able to quit without getting banned. This may only apply to ranked playlists, though.

Yes, this is only in ranked. In social, just tough it out because it should drop in new players. Of course, playing with a full team is always the best option.
