What I want is in the title or a choice between doubles and comp:
I don’t agree at all with the new decision to remove doubles and replace it with an HCS no radar gametype I do not like this because it forces games to take too long and on top of that I forces you to take a slower play style instead of letting you choose between being aggressive or playing slow. As someone who doesn’t have a very good headset it is hard to heard someone flanking around the corner and with the ways the maps are designed there are several ways someone can flank you at any given time in the game.
I don’t believe this is the right way to go about this whatsoever
I don’t know why doubles was removed abruptly last season especially this late into the game’s life cycle and why we can’t even have a choice between playing doubles or 2v2 competitive it’s honestly just not fun at all being forced to play a certain way to win.
While you are here what are your thoughts on Doubles vs this New game mode? Idk if I’m the only one that feels this way and it may be my point of view and my friends that still play this game’s view.
I’m pretty sure doubles is coming back either later this month or next month. I get what you mean with how they randomly just pop this in without any sort of warning. But to be fair, people were asking for this ever since it was removed, it was just the general consensus. I agree that I’m not too big a fan of 2v2 Comp myself, but the people wanted it and they got it. It makes sense.

Who was asking for this? I never heard any complaints about doubles I just don’t get why at the very least it can’t just coexist ya know? And I hope it is coming back cause I can’t stand this new game type it took all the fun out of doubles in my opinion.
I also rather the doubles playlist over the 2v2 competitive. Doubles always seems to be heavily populated, so I’m not sure why they rotate it. The 2v2 competitive playlist plays much slower in my experience. Lots of camping and people avoiding sprinting to not show up on radar. I also really like hazard, veil and these walls, and this is the only playlist with these maps.

“To go along with the weekly doubles tournaments, we will be switching the Ranked Doubles playlist out for the 2v2 Competitive playlist starting tomorrow at 10am PDT and staying through the end of June.” Was a tweet Josh Menke put up on May 20th. And I mostly see a lot of people asking for this on twitter to be honest. Not so much on way-point. Honestly the only thing I like about 2v2 Comp is that it’s mostly on the better maps of the bunch, I’ve always been a big fan of the dev maps more than the forge maps, the forge maps aren’t bad, but they’re kinda weird in my book. Other than that, the pistol starts don’t bother me too much, although the no radar does lead to a camp fest for the most part.
