Today I was playing a match in the weekend doubles playlist. And I encountered people who camped like no other. My teammate had already quit ( and I don’t blame him). I was down throughout the entire match so I had to keep on searching for the enemy team. And every -Yoinking!- time they would be crouched and hiding around corners. It was in an I ranked -Yoinking!- social playlist! And before one you says that you can just flush them out with grenades, remember that the double date playlist does not give you any grenades to spawn with. And what’s worse is that these two camped right by pulse grenades. Holy -Yoink- it was a terrible experience. Why do people do -Yoink- like this? And has anyone had similar experiences?
The real question is why you are playing doubles withought a friend
Taking advantage of no grenades, although crouching in a 2v1 is beyond nerdy.
yea i didn’t the valentines doubles like most people also. I found it funny that we had no grenade starts but they put rockets on the map.
I was trying to get a game or two of shooting to get my aim straight before going into ranked and i was faced against people sitting up top so i just keep rushing them nonstop to end the game and i could go on my marry way.
What pissed me off more is that a loss in valentines doubles lowers your win percentage
are social and ranked win percentages not separated?
Wish Halo 5’s grenade system I have no idea how someone can camp for very long.
if you can’t regen shields while running then you should have no shields while camping, if you’re stationary or crouched for 10 or more seconds your shields should drop.
Also if you get a kill your shields should instantly recharge, 9 times out of 10 if I’m in a gun fight with some one and kill them my health and shields are next to zero and his buddy runs up on me and kills me in one shot. My reward for winning is death EVERY TIME!!! this game limits how good the good players can be, it won’t let the truly skilled shine.

Nope they aren’t. If you lose in big team your overall percentage drops.
I excuse camping in Valentines doubles because we’re dealing with the old BRs in small maps. Getting and controlling vantage points were key for most of the matches I played. If you forced the enemies to come to you or knew if they were going to go for the power weapons then it was an easy game. This is doubles, you’re either running into one person or two and since everyone has the same weapons, getting the jump on them is key. So yea taking advantages of corners near choke-points in fair game, there are multiple routes so you won’t always pick the right one. You’re using BRs, you do want to keep your distance a little bit, maybe scope them out from a distance from a good spot with nearby cover yet offers you a pretty good view. It might get cold so start a fire and maybe pitch a tent and make some hot chocolate with your date.
