THAT’S WHAT I HATE MOST OF HALO. I’m playing a BTB game and BOOM headshot from nowhere. I drive a Mongoose and BOOM headshot from the same camper. I try to kill him but he’s got a Shotgun. In addition, since Halo Reach they’ve got Active camo, so they can -Yoink- us even more!
So I guess Halo has been ruined ever since CE.

If I understood this right you got killed by a camper, that’s one death. After that you get into a mongoose and drive towards him, that’s two deaths. After that you run towards him again and die, that’s 3 deaths by the same camper. You are basically doing exactly what the camper wants you to do. I would say you need to think of more smarter ways to eliminate him instead of just continously running against him. That will just encourage him to camp even more, giving him the K/D he wants.
People are gonna camp, you like it or not. They always find hardly visible spots, secure the location of the shotgun and sniper. If you are telling people on an FPS to not camp, well… good luck on that.

No, Halo being cluttered with concepts that don’t compliment Halo, nor Halo feeling like a Halo game is what is ruining Halo.
So I guess campers ruined Halo 1, 2, 3, Reach, and 4. Can’t get rid of them. It’s been in every Halo. I actually like campers. You get a satisfaction when you kill them!
As long as you change locations, and don’t you power weapons or snipe me, you can camp in peace.

Man. Remember when Halo, Call of Duty, Gears of War, Battlefield, and any other shooter out there were still relevant? Too bad camping ruined them, especially Call of Duty. Which still to this day is the best selling game of all time. It’s a shame that it’s so successful yet completely irrelevant to everything.
Stop complaining about the campers. If the map isn’t horribly designed they shouldn’t be a problem, it’s not like they’re going anywhere.
Campers in Halo were a bit annoying in Halo CE to Halo 4. But in Halo 5 It seems that Campers have became a really annoying thing… Due to the radar incompetence.

Camping is nothing in this game compared to others. Now if the game rewarded you with even more powerfull weapons for getting kills without dying then I would say we are gonna have a problem, but we dont.

I can’t say I have encountered a camper. In my experience people tend to roam the map unless they are controlling a power weapon but I wouldn’t call this camping.
