I have many issues with how they game was change for the earlier halo’s. For the most part halo combat evolved. Some of the weapons have changed so that they do not function as they use to. Case in point the plasma pistol overheats much faster than it use to. Also the difficulty has been increased to a stupid point. On legendary difficulty it takes me abut 10 re-spawns at each major battle along the missions and for some reason the purple elites don’t go down with a shot to the head. IT TAKES ME 2 SNIPER ROUNDS IN THE FACE TO KILL A FREAKING PURPLE ELITE. I’m sure you can understand why that is ridiculous. I personally feel that you have changed the game to much from its original version that it is no longer enjoyable and as a person who does not partake in the online/multiplayer aspect of the game I want my campaign experience to be as enjoyably as possible. I have no problem with the graphics update (especially since i can turn it off) just wish that the actual game play wasn’t changed as much.

Lower the difficulty then it’s what most people would say. I personally enjoy the challange that legendary difficulty gives. Halo 2 legendary is quite difficult but Halo 4’s was not as hard as halo 2.
I personally love the graphic reboot hoping they do ODST soon.
Yeah i only play legendary for the achievements. If i actually want to enjoy the campaign i’ll play it on normal.
Please can anybody help me. I bought the master cheif collection to replay one of my favorite game franchises. I am having trouble getting past Mission 3: Truth and Reconciliation in Halo 1. It is not a difficulty problem there is this one terminal I need to activate at the top of the hanger but after I kill everyone in the room and get to the terminal it just won’t let me activate it. There is still the red arrow pointing to the terminal and it does not even prompt me to activate it anymore. I was having troubles with this same terminal around eight months ago when I got the game where it would tell me to push the button to activate it then when I did that it would either freeze or kick me out to the Xbox dashboard and restart the game. So after trying everything I could think of (I power cycled my xbox, restarted the game, traded in the disk for a brand new copy, then I uninstalled and reinstalled The MCC) after all of that when I loaded it up and getting back to Mission 3 I am lead to the same terminal with no way to progress so I just got completely upset and didn’t play the game for a long like eight months. With hopes that it was just snug that needed to be patched. Then today I finally bought Halo 5 but I still would really like to play the the whole saga from the beginning its actually the only game my fiancé likes and is actually into playing so please if anyone could help that would be amazing!!!.

I can’t even play that mission in coop. Every time I try to play it with my friend I lose connection to the game even though I’m hosting. And the rest of MCC campaign is laggy as all… Yea.
