Campaign

Why is it that when you play the campaign online you hardly get credits for it. For example I played a campaign mission and lasted for twenty minutes and I got a little over 2,000 credits for the game. However if I were playing a game of firefight and that were to last the full twenty minutes I would of receive about 6,000 credits and it would be about the same if I were playing competitive matchmaking for a twenty minute period. So why do you get more credits based on time when playing a firefight or competitive match, but less so if playing the campaign.

You don’t get much credits for commendations in campaign that’s why. In FF, you can easily get up to 2K credits just spamming heavy weapons. It’s much easier to assists and kills in FF because there are more enemies to kill than say FF. Time isn’t the only factor when it comes to cR payouts. You got jackpots, commendations, player performance, how long played etc.

I’d say because a) campaign is easy, and b) you can play campaign without having a gold account. And since Microsoft understandbly wants you to have such an account, payouts in modes you can play without a gold account are far lower.

On a site note, this belongs in the Campaign Forum.

LOL the campaign is easy, but then again so is playing firefight. I know it belongs in the campaign forum its that I forgot to switch it before I submitted it.

He is referring to the Campaign Playlist.

Anyways, it is because if the game completion was huge the following would happen.

Player A & B search, only them two get in a game together.

Player A plays through the level while Player B goes AFK.

Player A gets to the end of the level while Player B is still AFK.

Player A goes AFK.

Player A & B come back two hours later.

They end the level and bam, huge cR Payouts.

It’s to stop stuff like this.

Ok now I am only taking about playing the campaign online and not off. I understand what you are saying but there is a solution and that would be to put a time limit on the campaign mission. I would say the time limit would be influence by the difficulty that the game is set on and if they can catch afkers in firefight then I wouldn’t see why they wouldn’t be able to ban afkers from the campaign when playing online.
