They stated today that they want to maximize bug fixes and polishing. Staten said they will show off Campaign closer to release.

Yes, I agree. I believe Campaign demos should be closer to release as well

Plenty of developers are quite vocal on how much these impact development too so it’s not a controversial topic at all. I personally am against Halo getting a demo outside of multiplayer. Why? Because it takes away the awe on released. Imagine playing the beginning of Oblivion with a demo when you get to the outside and getting that ruined.

A month ago I was saying I wanted some kind of campaign demo, but I have totally changed my mind. This campaign seems like it is gonna be really, really good, and the more blind I am going in, the more memorable moments I will have. I truly can’t wait to play, but at the same time, I am fine with waiting to see the campaign until it is in my hands.

I honestly want to go in blind and experience the wonderful world of Zeta Halo Day 1!

Oh you’re worried about having it ruined? Really??? Just pretend the demo is the single player campaign and you’re a co-op player waiting for the optional game mode. No big deal. You can wait. Spoilers are fine.

but screw the co-op guys, amirite? They don’t deserve that same experience as you want.
Bring out the demo. If you don’t like it, you can just wait until the game comes out.

I am stating about the experience of playing it prior to release. Do you search these forums just to create drama? It truly seems like that.

Yes, prior to release. When does the singleplayer campaign come out compared to the co-op campaign release? Prior?
I’m not looking for drama, but are you kidding me right now? This is the most hypocritical argument that has ever been made on these forums. You tell people to suck it up and deal with it if they don’t like having the game spoiled for them three months in advance, and then you state that you absolutely do not want to be forced to suck it up and deal with it because you don’t like having the game spoiled for you in advance.

What is that if not hypocrisy?

I think there should be a demo. Let the cards fall where they may.

You are still stuck on that issue still lol. Every time you respond to me you are searching for drama and it’s quite annoying. It’s quite immature since you overreact every single time like my words hurt you on a personal level. Please stop replying to me.

The entire argument against the demo is a carbon copy of my argument against releasing the singleplayer campaign before co-op. It’s literally the same argument.

There is no reason not to release a demo that isn’t also directly applicable to releasing the singleplayer before co-op. Release the demo early.

don’t you have anything better to do than disagree with everything everyone says? yeesh you are tiring.

I just want to know more about the story, period. No, I don’t want or need the whole thing spoiled, but at this point starting over for a third time with the third game doesn’t really bode well to me and knowing very little else has not brought on the hype.

I don’t disagree with everything. Only the dumb and hypocritical stuff, like demanding one group have the game spoiled for them, and then demanding that another group doesn’t spoil it for you. You know, the textbook example levels of hypocrisy. The kind where you argue with someone for a couple days over it, and then copy and paste his argument as your own when the shoes on the other foot (And even you know it’s hypocritical because you’re not even try to defend it, just throwing out dismissive ad hominem attacks instead).

Give the people what they want. Let people play a campaign demo. People have waited long enough. It’s selfish to make others have to wait.

I am not demanding the game be spoiled for you. That is what you are not understanding. You seem to think that people being okay with waiting for the coop while we play the game solo are personally out to get you. Also, you are just coming off as a spiteful jerk. If you gotta have things ruined for you, then everyone else should have it ruined for them. Also, if they do release a demo, then oh well lmao, I will just get over it, which is something you should learn.

i’m also one of those people who wanted to know about the campaign, but i guess at this point it doesn’t matter and we are 3 month away from launch and if i waited 5 6 years for the game i can wait another 3 month to go blind and discover the story by my self.

Neither am I. I just want a demo. No harm in giving people a demo. How do you not get this?

Coming from someone who is still visibly upset about having to wait for co-op, people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Also, me saying that I personally don’t really want a demo doesn’t mean that I am demanding that 343 not release one, no matter how badly they might want it. You are more than welcome to want a demo, and if/when one comes out, I hope you enjoy it. I am having a very hard time taking you seriously at all though since according to your service record you haven’t completed a single Halo campaign on co-op, not a single one in MCC or Halo 5. However, at the end of the day man, I hope you have a good time with Infinite, and I hope that you find co-op worth the wait, and I do think it is sucky that you have to wait for it after the game releases.

Wow. Projecting much?
You’re literally arguing with me just because I pointed out the hypocrisy. Now I side with your old sentiment and you’re upset over it. You can just walk away with the satisfaction knowing no matter what, deservedly or not, you’re just get everything going your way, but because I called everything out, you want to throw dirt on me.

I don’t know what stupid jank thing you’re looking at, but I literally played the Halo 3 co-op to completion on splitscreen the night it came out at school. I think it’s literally the only class I missed 'til I graduated. And it was my xbox in my room in my apartment and I was tired so after it was done he asked if he could play multiplayer and I crashed hard on my bed while he played. I know I played 2 with my younger brother, 3 with the college doofus (and he was a doofus… ¿Jeremy?), and ODST and Reach through most if not all the campaign missions at work with my best friend, so I don’t know where you’re getting these fake stats.

That’s just patronizing. At the end of the day you’re happy you’re getting your way and take pleasure in the fact I won’t get a fair shake. You can’t say tfb or I don’t care in every post then do a 180 at the end and say you do sympathize. You don’t even consider a real mode. Now you’re gonna say that you care and hope for the best? That’s just patronizing.

You’re gonna get your way no matter what, but you couldn’t make your case then got caught talkin outta both ends afterwards, so you take offense so you pretend like you’re brushing it off but clearly spent the time try to discredit me; trying to claim I never even played Halo or whatever. But yeah, you really hope I get my co-op. lol. C’mon dude.

I mean, if you honestly wanted to make the case you don’t want to rub it in that right or wrong you still get your way then you’d just walk away without trying to gloat by actively responding to my posts and then act dismissive or act patronizing by saying things like “I hope you get the Halo you’re looking for.” You wouldn’t take the jab, you would just walk away.
