So ever since Halo 5 Guardians came out, I’ve heard nothing but negativity. I like the story, it’s not my favorite but what set me off was that you can’t play split screen anymore with friends which sucks! One of my friends was so excited to play with me until we found out it wasn’t offered which was a big turn off because then I had to wait for him to buy the game when he had the money. Why did 343 even think of this idea? And what did you like and not like about the game?
I like playing alone, playing with friends split screen is not very pleasant for my taste

I didn’t like that the campaign A.I. enemies proved very unfair to the player on Legendary difficulty, like almost all of the enemies have pin-point accuracy and homing rounds. It is impossible to playthrough Halo 5’s campaign without going down once, due to undodgeable homing projectiles that kill you instantly and sheer numbers of enemies that are bullet sponges and are very frustrating to face against.
Don’t get me started with Warzone Firefight…!

The lack of split-screen was a performance thing. During development, Halo 5’s overhauled engine didn’t work correctly when testing split-screen (or something along those lines), so the decision was made to leave it out.
Future Halo games, provided that these kinds of issues do not reappear, will have split-screen.

This seems like a thinly veiled split-screen thread, let’s please keep split-screen conversations in the appropriate thread please. Thanks!
