> I think Chief’s armor should be unlocked at legendary
Chief’s new armor? I thought about for awhile, but I think its best for normal because any new players to Halo will be most familiar with Chief’s new armor, and are most likely to play on normal because they are new to Halo. Same with the Mk V, Halo veterans will remember the original Mk V armor, and will likely play on legendary since they are veterans, get what I’m saying?
Oh, and if you beat the campaign on legendary you will also unlock anything for lower difficulties, like how if how you beat it on legendary you get the achievement for beating it on legendary, heroic, and normal.
For 1, Chief’s has no new Armor. He is still wearing Mark VI. However, 343 changed the look of it, but It is still the Mark VI
however, I agree chief’s armor should be received via campaign completion. Mark V being on heroic, and Mark VI being legendary(perhaps alone). Or maybe you could get them by finding skulls/terminals. But it shouldn’t be among the regular armor selection.

Nah, nothing upgraded about it, it’s just 343i’s design for Mark VI, but still exactly the same.
It has been confirmed that a lot of the unlocks are going to be in the fashion Halo 3 did their’s, right? Because, I LOVE that concept. I do not like just progressing and gaining

He’s able to use AA’s now, I would call that upgraded. Plus it’s not a redesign, if you haven’t heard, Chief’s armor was changed while he was in cryosleep.

I’d like a balance between the two, Reach was kinda like this, with the Waypoint unlocks, but it was too much progression and not enough awards.
This sounds amazing, I hope they have mark V in this game. I always play the games on Legendary, and the gameplay and achievements are in my opinion enough so if they don’t do this then I’m fine. However, as someone said earlier, I think you should get something for finding all terminals. I also think there should be more armor, making it so that even if you unlock all this armor it doesn’t get you a whole lot of armor in the big picture.

Not his armor, just his firmware, so nothing visual.
