I bought an XBOX One Console a few years back and it was the MCC Edition that came with a digital download for it. I remember back when I bought the console I was able to play everything just fine. A week ago I decided I want to play through all of the campaigns again I first reinstalled MCC and the correct campaigns and once they were all finished, the campaign button was greyed out, like I was unable to access it at all. I then reinstalled the entire game and did that process again about 3 times. Still no luck, I then wiped my entire console and reinstalled on a fresh slate and, still, Campaign was greyed out. I took to Microsoft Support and I was rudely hung up on as I was describing that I have wiped my console and if I did anything wrong.
I do own the game and I remember playing the campaigns those years ago. I also can multiplayer on every Halo in MCC just fine.
Anything I missed, suggestions?

Same issue. So far I haven’t seen a coherent response besides “have you tried reinstalling?” Which doesn’t seem to work.

May of found a solution, standby…
Only fix I have found:
As you can see there are two games. ‘1’ is the version that has the campaign and everything else. ‘2’ is the insider version, which has no functioning campaign and or other features found on the complete game [‘1’] at the moment.
As there is no visual difference from ‘1’ [Imgur: The magic of the Internet] and ‘2’ [Imgur: The magic of the Internet], you want to pick the one that has a higher number of reviews.
Once you have located ‘1’ you will either buy it, if you don’t already own it or press the “Install on my devices” button once you have logged in to your Microsoft account. From there it will then download on your console.
(It may also work to search it up from the store on your XBOX One console and download it from there.)
Once the game has downloaded, it will look very similar to the MCC: Insider version, however, it has a campaign mode and the other features.
Addendum:
Okay, it works for me now, and I have found the solution. There are two different MCC collections, MCC and MCC Insider. I thought that the MCC Insider was the only one; It all is confusing.
However, as I explored the Microsoft Store on my PC I found this: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
Those seemingly are the same games however the game designated as ‘1’ is the actual game while ‘2’ is the insider game.
‘1’ is the complete game that you either redeem, like I did when I purchased my console, or when the game is bought itself.
(This is the one I originally played on the years ago as read in the first post)
‘2’ is the one I and probably most people have trouble with.
When I wanted to play all the campaigns through the week ago, I went to install the game and it was the only MCC that popped up in the ‘Ready to install’ tab. So, I took it as it was the original game like ‘1’ but for some reason, they changed its name to MCC: Insider due to the upcoming release for PC for testing purposes. And since it is the Insider version of MCC some of the features are limited like Campaign Mode. This is probably the main issue most people had when they couldn’t play the campaign or use such features that the full game had.
This entire issue was because I thought that the MCC: Insider was the only MCC version to exist because of my Xbox not revealing the full MCC game thus, making me think it was a technical issue I was having.
