Just reading through Greenskull’s experience with the game, and his campaign tease has really hyped me for what we might see at E3!
“After getting the run-down, we were shown a brief campaign teaser. It moved so fast it was hard to point anything out. That being said, what my eyes feasted upon was jaw dropping: massive enemies, space battles, and more. I saw Hunters forming from worms (Lekgolo) on the ground, Banshees flying past a space station, and a flying Forerunner vehicle shooting at a massive covenant station (it almost looked like a mining rig). The scale was unlike anything we’ve seen in Halo, specifically the giant vehicle scene. There were vehicles flying around, Covenant shooting plasma through the air, and explosions illuminating the landscape. It was hard not to get excited. We watched it twice. I am very certain that the space banshee scene was a playable experience. Halo 5: Space Battles. Colour me hyped. A new enemy type was briefly shown called the Promethean Soldier. It’s a more human-like enemy that moves fast and looks to be a handful to deal with.”
Space Battles, Giant Enemies, and what I find most interesting, Hunters forming from Lekgolo.
Makes me wonder, might we end up fighting them in their Nightfall form? Or is this more of a cool animation to introduce Hunter battles?
Greenskull’s write-up had me asking so many questions. It is amazing that a Halo game can still get me this excited.
I really like the sound of revive mechanics and I hope that the Iron Skull is in just to make it all the more brutal.
Space battles is just pure win and Hunters forming in-game is just… Wow.
CHEERS E3! E3! E3!
Exciting stuff, I just hoping this huge news drop off wasn’t the E3 presentation.

I expect we’ll get the game-play from Blue Team and some juicy multiplayer details.
I’m sure they’ll show that same teaser at the end of the Halo 5 presentation.

I’m really happy with the fact that there’s an actual animation for reviving people. I’m a little confused as to how a green light can revive someone though, but hey, I’ll wait to see it in action.
… Imagine blowing up a Scarab just to create a dozen Hunters out of the fallout?

When downed, your suit’s systems have taken too much damage to auto-heal, you go into a form of armour lock to prevent dislocating breaks, etc.
The green light is giving energy and commands to the nanaobots in the suit to both reboot the firmware and repair the circuits preventing auto-heal.
But that’s just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Ah, I like that explanation, I’m gonna go with that.
And killing a Scarab to create a dozen Hunters sounds absolutely terrifying. Or perhaps the Scarab might create Hunters to protect its core? Okay, my head hurts. Don’t even get me started on Harvesters…

An aircraft carrier needs support a crew… That Hunters would form out its own shell once boarded is much more lore-gratifying
That a “battle” Scarab would drop into a zone and deploy Hunters from itself as it blasts the large scale objects is just makes sense
From what I’ve seen so far (Concept Art, Screenshots, what Greenskull said about it) it seems that this is going to be awesome. Can’t wait for the press conference Monday, I’ll probably check the trailers/gameplay a lot as what I’ve seen from the screenshots the details are amazing.

I’m really hoping we see that teaser Greenskull saw. Apart from that, I’m hoping we see a really huge, open level, with massive battles taking place.
Has anybody thought that these Hunter worms might be the Thanolekgolo from Halo: Nightfall? The movements RUL describes sounds exactly like them. They were far more motile than the ones we’ve previously encountered. Given the events of Halo: Nightfall, it’s possible that Jul’s Covenant faction may have setup shop there and might be breeding Tanolekgolo worms.
Anyway, I can’t wait to see how these fast-moving worms impact gameplay! And it gives us a greater understanding of what Hunters are truly made out of. c:

Was wondering the same, but I’m starting to think it’s just an animation for hunter spawning. But I guess we’ll see!
Hunters forming in real-time???
OMG!!!
HYPE LEVEL 10000000000!!!
Remember in Halo 3 when that marine used his datapad to unlock chief’s armor? I’m thinking the revive mechanic will be something like that.
