Campaign Suggestions

Before anything, i would like to say that i really enjoyed the campaign so far (almost collected everything and on my way to complete the game on legendary). However once the main objective is completed and the side ones as well (take usually 2 or 3 days), there is not much else to be done other than just roaming around with few scarce encounters. So here are some ideas that could improve the campaign:

Principal Suggestions:

  1. Option to disable hit marker
  2. Option to disable outline
  3. Make nights darker (this will allow better overall immersion, create interesting encounters and make use more often of the flashlight)
  4. Remove some of the invisible walls between some regions (e.g. region between AA cannons and the Spire) to grant more liberty when travelling with vehicles

Secondary Suggestions

  1. Add more equipment / weapons for a larger diversity of approach in combat
    e.g. Active Camo ability:
    Grant a longer cloaking ability (fully upgraded thruster only provide 2 sec), this will allow players to use a stealth approach when engaging the enemy (base duration 9 sec, then 11, 13, 15, 17).
    e.g. Deployable mine ability:
    Allow the player to deploy an anti-personal mine (similar to Halo 3) to take out enemies (particularly efficient against berserk brutes, specops elites or vehicles patrolling)

  2. Add temporary encounters across the map similar to the “distress call” or “kill the target” side missions

  • Explanation:
    Once you finish the side objectives, there is unfortunately no other way to re-play them other than re-doing the whole campaign. Adding temporary side objectives that pop randomly across the map would definitively improve the length of the campaign both when playing solo and while playing coop
