LEts face it the UNSC has all 3 of those in their ranks. why are none of them on zeta?
We know jackal engineers help with the MK VII platform, we know elites are cross training with spartans, and well grunts good luck telling a grunt it doesn’t work for you. We have seen what happens with that (looks at the aouncer in 5 and fliplop)

Jackal scout
info: Armed with advanced UNSC armor and their standard shield gauntlet jackal scouts can swap between using the gauntlet and a full body shield, they tend to use sniper rifles and their mobility to set up for overwatch. The UNSC keeps these scouts well paid to prevent any fragging of commanders, or bounty lust.
lore: when the infinity fell a good chunk of these guys swapped to the banished side painting their armor red and swapping from the green shields of the UNSC to their yellow freebooter shields. But now that chief is back a few have filtered back into the ranks mostly those who only swapped to do deep scouting as they put it.
gameplay: with one handed weapons they use their shield gauntlet, with two handed weapons they use a shield, they can keep up with a hog on foot using there mobility to their advantage.
Grunt MULE UNSC
Info: One day FlipFlop just showed up at the outpost, started offering strange things, he was quickly escorted out but the marines found him funny so kept him around. Well he soon brought others, all mules who painted their armor green. sense then Zeta has made use of them, unlike marines grunts are able to lift a lot, like a full grown spartan a lot. As such the mules have been working with UNSC salvage teams to recover lost equipment and defenses.
gameplay: often found with UNSC patrols near weapon caches and other valuable items, can have all the same weapons as a normal mule on their back but also might have ammo boxes, or even m247 machine guns on their back. Are always armed with sidekicks and will throw UNSC grenades faster and farther then marines. they can also drive ghosts though they have to drop their carried back items to do so.
Elite Spec ops
Info: elites have been cross training with the UNSC for a long time when the infinity fell several elite squads made it to the surface but where quickly overwlemed by other mercs and banished forces the ones that remain are high priority targets like the spartans. As such they are scarce.
game play: always cloaked, prefer sniper type weapons tend to use UNSC snipers or BRs in combat, and maybe even the bandit. Will use shroud screens defensively.
