Yesterday when I put in Reach I got the pop up saying something along the line of “Welcome to Noble Team, you’ve been given 5000CR for the armory, etc…”
and my account was reset to the default armor, color, emblem, elite armor, control lay out, etc.
So after I fixed all of that stuff I checked the campaign lobby and all of my campaign status was reset (I only had the first mission available to play). So is there any way to get back your campaign status after this happens or do you just have to replay it again?
Stop playing Reach, drop everything, and recover your profile.
If Microsoft’s copy of your profile hasn’t yet updated, then your Campaign data prior to the reset may still be there.
Stop what you’re doing and recover your account back to your console.
Apparently, a copy of your profile is kept on the LIVE servers. If that hasn’t updated yet, then it should contain the Campaign data that you had prior to the reset glitch, and recovering it will retrieve your data. Of course, if you’re too late, then you’ll just get the new (reset) data back.
I would like to know if that recover gamertag idea works as, as far as I know the only data saved on xboxlive that will be of any help to you is your achvos.
Bookmark data is held on your harddrive.
Although I could be wrong on that, I am not wrong on this…your problem is caused by turning off your 360 from either in a lobby or game. When ever you dashboard from reach the same applies always go right back to the main menu then go home. This will decrease if not eradicate this glitch from happening to you.
