Campaign Stats Suggestions

I’m part of a community that seeks to challenge ourselves in the campaign. As such, we’ve developed a set of rules we like to call “Mythic” difficulty. In a nutshell, this is playing Legendary, All Skulls On with no Save/Quit and Zero Deaths. Currently, we can only verify that these conditions are met if the player produces online game stats on Bungie.net with a linked game film. (Stats don’t tell you where they started the mission. I.E. if the player resumed from a checkpoint or if they had started from the beginning of the mission)

As such, I have the following requests for game stats available through the eventual API in upcoming and future halo games (and if at all possible for currently released Halo games). Most of these are already available through Bungie’s API for Reach, but I want to keep a complete list here.

  • Whether the game was started from mission start, a rally point, or a saved checkpoint
  • If the game was completed or if player(s) quit
  • What skulls/modifiers were active
  • Difficulty settings

Additionally, tracked stats for any easter egg access would be helpful for alternate challenges, such as whether a datapad was accessed, if a BoB was killed, etc.

These are what I want to see in future campaign stats. What stats would YOU like to see tracked in campaign?
