Right, so with the problems of matchmaking from last week (and still on-going) I decided to do a normal run through of H2A to see all of the blur cutscenes and the upgraded anniversary graphics, But, more recently, I have started a legendary run through of all of the games and have encountered a problem. I started Halo 2 on legendary last night, and got a fair way through Cairo station. I went for a bit after saving and quitting and later came back to find that my progress had been deleted, and that I was at the start of the campaign again. Not really bothered, I went through it again and eventually got it done.
Today however, I started from the mission Outskirts to The Oracle mission, again on legendary. I had to save and quit again, but this time at the start of Delta Halo, to put competitive scoring on as I wanted to beat my friends score, and set-up a new score for my other friends to follow (sad I know but hey-ho), but when I backed out, to my horror I discovered that my campaign progress had not saved at all, and all of the missions between Outskirts and The Oracle still registered as normal, from my playthrough of last week. It says to ‘resume’ on Outskirts and whenever I do it launches me to the start of the mission.
What is also weird, is that on Waypoint, it still says that I have done those missions, so on the game it doesn’t say that I have done it, but on waypoint it has.
As you can probably assume, I am very, very annoyed. I don’t really follow news and stuff, so I don’t know if the patch coming soon would resolve this issue with myself and for others on the game, but if there is another way to fix this issue in game or through waypoint, please let me know!! I am seriously annoyed!!
Also, my stats through MCC say that I have completed 5 out of 13 missions?
