campaign & spartan ops connectivity problems

I am getting signed out of Xbox Live constantly whilst playing campaign and spartan ops on my own - this happens on average 4/5 times per mission at irregular intervals. This doesn’t happen on matchmaking at all. I can play both game types in co-operative online with my friends, but it’s very laggy.

I am using a Netgear WNR1000v2 wireless router, but with a wired connection for my Xbox. I have played before when my Xbox is the only device on the network and it still does it!

Any suggestions/help please? Is anyone else experiencing this?

I am having similar type of problem. I am unable to play spartan ops online coz it keeps on searching and never get back with any results.however I can play other games fine, my nat is open.
Sometimes it says that I have lost connection to xbox live although I am chatting with my friends on xbox live and xbox still shows that I m online.

Reach works fine on my internet connection.issue is only with halo 4 sparton ops.
Plz provide solution.

Thanks for the replies, I have also posted in the Xbox support forums on xbox.com and have been given similar responses. The support staff there are unable to identify the issue too. Since the original post I have noticed that I also get disconnected during spartan ops missions and whilst on the main menu, infinity menus, theater or forge. For some reason I do not get disconnected if I am in a Halo 4 party with my friends, it only happens when I am on my own.

Has anyone got any idea how to stop this happening? It’s completely ruining part of the experience for me!

I have the same problem.

When I try to play spartan ops online it tells me that there are other players that are online. When I choose a game to play, it searches for a long time then it says that there is no one online playing at the moment or that no one has the mission.

When I try matchmaking it works fine ( a few glitches and some lag issues that I don’t mind ) I can even play big team slayer with minimal issues.

I am directly connected to my router and no devices are online when I play.

I just want to be able to play spartan ops and campaign missions matchmaking.
