Despite the fact that Halo 5’s campaign wasn’t great, there are still people who enjoyed playing it, as did I. Now that 343i is rolling out this new Score Attack thing, they are trying to draw attention back to their single player mode. Which begs the question, will Score Attack allow you to earn any REQ points? With Halo 5 being the grind that it is, people who want to unlock the armor and such, are forced to play Warzone, and Warzone only, as it is the only mode that provides a (more or less) fair amount of REQ points. Everything else is a waste of time. I miss the times when playing the campaign actually meant something. From straight up unlocking armor, to less direct ways of rewarding, such as the challenges in Reach, earning you those extra credits. Having a new scoring system with no rewards isn’t exactly a revolutionary amazing feature(Yeah, there’s achievements, but they’re pretty meaningless at this point as well). It would be nice if we were rewarded, even slightly, for actually completing missions and getting high scores on high difficulties. Anyone else agree?
I’m hoping so, otherwise it’ll just get me to play the Campaign one more time for the achievements (and to fix that -Yoink!- Lone Wolf achievement)
I’m looking forward to playing campaign on LASO on Score Attack - should be fun!
I’m looking forward to it.
I just wish there was campaign match making…
I really feel like this is too little too late for H5 campaign. There’s a part of me that wonders why they’ve put the effort into rebalancing it and adding scoring to it.
That’d be cool. Even if it’s only a little bit, I would be happy to get some req points to work towards the grind. I’m excited for score attack.
