this may be a stupid question but why in infinite does cortana have the mantle emblem below her neck as she never has before?
She had it in H5 too, of which, the whole plot was that Cortana believed that smart AI (the Created) were the heirs of the Mantle and not Humanity. So I guess she decided to wear it after she found the Domain.
She has it in Halo 5. Pretty sure they reused the model from Halo 5 but pink version to make it easier to distinguish her from the Weapon.
It makes sense, the whole thing was she thought AI should inherit the Mantle so it’s adopted as her and presumably the Created Emblem.
