Star Wars last missions in the space run, the leader is a holgram like in Star Wars, the Didact can you the force for some reason, and the prometheans have lightsabers in their hands. Good job 343
Don’t forget the Star Wars music at the beginning cutscene of mission 7!
The only thing that reminded me of Star Wars was the music at the beginning of “Composer”. If that wasn’t Star Wars music then I don’t know what is.
EDIT: Ninja’d, doh
I agree. And this game is so much like Need for Speed cause you have vehicle runs, and it’s like Pacman! You play as a character remember? Instant Pacman copy.
There was a hologram leader in Starwars?
The force? Didn’t know Lucas Arts copyrighted Telekinesis? Or Forerunner its probably not mental powers but a extremely advanced form of technology that would be similar to Gravity Gun.
Lightsabers. Maybe but Forerunner technology is more advanced than a lightsaber. Its condensed light in till it becomes physical if I am right. Not sure.
The last mission with the Broadsword reminded me SO MUCH of Star Wars: Rebel Strike…
If they were trying to be like Star Wars, don’t expect great things after Disney purchased Lucasfilms.
… The broadsword seem way more agile than the x-wing and that mission required more skill than the Death Star run.
> The last mission with the Broadsword reminded me SO MUCH of Star Wars: Rebel Strike…
That mission still seemed alot different than Starwards: Rebel Strike. Cause if I remember that. It involved a exhaust port and a lucky shot.
This was more so Attacking a Forerunner Battleship(Not sure on the class of a ship). Not a giant mechanical planet with one prior weakness. That and I don’t think Luck got out of his fighter to complete the mission.
Tho that mission brought up one point. Where was the UNSC when the Didact attacked earth. I saw no picket line of fleet defense or mac cannons stations.

Yeah, and the Death Star run didn’t have moving walls either.

I was just thinking about the whole tight spaced-wall maneuvering-getting shot by turrets-“Luke, don’t fly high! The guns!”-stuff felt similar. Except you couldn’t fly high because there was a ceiling. Let’s try not to get too spoily.
Don’t forget the terrible scene transitions
I thought the Broadsword mission was like Star Fox on the good ole 64.
Halo 4 is just a Force Unleashed clone.
you forgot to mention chief getting off the pelican at the end = vader/emporer getting off the shuttle on the death star. as well as the didact’s satellite is the death star.
