Most of the time when i complete a level in the campaign it doesn’t save or registre that i have ever played or completed the level as far as i’m aware this has only become an issue since Halo 3, and i’ve only had the issue on Halo 3 campaign missions.
So far it has registred and not registred these maps all maps where played on legendary if that has any meaning.
Arrival / Sierra-117. Tracked, no issue.
Crow’s Nest. Tracked, no issue.
Tsavo Highway, after completing the level 4 times it finally registred.
The Storm. Completed 3 times, has yet to track progress or acknowledge that i have ever completed the map.
Floodgate, Completed 3 times, has yet to track progress or acknowledge that i have ever completed the map.
The Ark, completed once, did not track, also picked up the terminal which the game also didn’t track that.
No skulls of any kind have been active when i have completed these maps, kinda sad since i have almost no reason to play the game until it actually tracks my progress.
I’m having trouble with this as well. It seems if I start the campaign from a specific mission it won’t count it that mission, but any other missions I complete without restarting the game will save fine. I went through the legendary campaign in several sessions. When I started a new session instead of resuming the campaign I selected the mission I was on manually. I just finished the campaign and the only missions that didn’t save (even though I went through the whole mission) were the ones I started a new session on (Crow’s Nest, The Storm and Cortana). The rest of the missions I played through in the session after completing the unsaved missions worked fine.

Sadly that’s not the case for me, when i did it the first time i completed Tsavo Highway, the storm and floodgate all in a row and none saved

Sounds exactly like the issue I’m having, only strated after Halo 3 released

Yep. LNOS for me. Completed Solo and Co-op. Neither counted.
Still having this issue as well. It seems to be related to if you select a mission from the mission browser… this is unfair and makes it difficult to finalize the campaign…

Yeah I still encounter it from time to time, doesn’t seem to happen when you play through a playlist, but rather when you select a specific mission to play.
Multiple times when my friend had it completed but I didn’t.
