I have completed the first 6 missions of Halo 4 on Legendary. However there are a couple issues.

  1. Waypoint says I have not completed any missions.
  2. The achievement for mission 6 did not unlock and I am now half way through mission 7.
  3. The game says I have not completed mission 6 despite mission 7 now being available and almost complete.

Did you play the entire Mission in a single sitting?
There seems to be an issue where-by the game doesn’t count partial progress, but instead you have to do the entire Mission from Start to Finish for it to count.

Waypoint not updating however is more a case of the stats are not getting uploaded immediately. Don’t worry to much about it as they will eventually update themselves.

Something you can try is moving your savefile to Cloud Storage, as sometimes a closed NAT will affect the ability to communicate directly with Waypoint Services.

I am having a similar issue, but I got the Achievements…but nothing on Waypoint or my Service record…and no armor unlocks for beating it on Legendary. I’m guessing Waypoint acts somehow as the central unlock for armor and such, so things not recording on it properly would likely have to do with that…the Achievements, not sure of. Though as a somewhat amusing observation…my Achievements on Waypoint show unlocked for Campaign, but says I haven’t started it. Made me laugh a bit. My NAT is open and no issues there.

What makes it a pain is that the mission I must now redo is arguable the “Cortana” of this game; Shutdown. It is just an overall unfun experience on solo Legendary.

What has me worried is that I am unsure if the Mark VI unlock is based on Waypoint’s recognition of my completion of the missions. If is is that means I will have to replay the entire game up to this point.

I had to retreat and finish I believe the 7th mission on co-op because I didn’t finish it in one sitting. And waypoint updated a bit slow but I believe it as up the next day so it will work eventually

I had to do this today, you need the COMMENDATIONS of Halo 4’s Campaign to reflect your completed missions, the achievements do not cut it

You can also skip the majority of SHUTDOWN by heading for the third tower right as soon as you get the pelican, jump over the entrance and finish the mission in 10-15 mins

Mine says the same as well I have finished all 8 missions and it says I have not completed Missions 2 and 8 despite me unlocking the achievments for them the other issue is it that it says I have completed the campaign in 12 and a half hours which is not true becuase I have counted how long its took me and it has taken me roughly 8 hours to do. and I guess really the only other issue is that it says I died 116 times which is not true at all. apart from these issues the Game is amazing
