Campaign - Problem missions/solutions etc

Having just muddled my way around the Campaign on Legendary I just wondered what
problems & solutions to those, others have found.

My biggest nightmare was Midnight. The part where you activate a light bridge then 2 knights immediately spawn & seemingly hammer the crap out of you before you can work out which way is up!

That whole section became an unfolding car crash, as the more I progressed the more knights appeared ! It went from 2 then 4 . I took out 4 & got blind sided by the 5th.

Eventually I had got past 6 before being incinerated by the 7th.

In the end was just a case of up close & personal with knight number 1. Pick off the rest, bar the 7th, with the laser rifle /auto turret combo then sneak up on the incinerator & utilise an up close & personal approach again.

In general, for all the fore runner levels I found the auto turret a useful piece of kit. It distracts attention but also weakens shields. On the odd occasion in earlier missions it took out a knight or 2. Handy in the defend the position section on Infinity level.

On Midnight in general , maximise the incinerator cannon as much as possible but probably save 1 round for that light bridge area !

Any other horror stories/tips out there ?

Took me a while that part too. I never had an incenerator cannon.

I did use jet pack all the way to the end skipping the last light bridge on normal but this never worked on Legendary.

Knights are too scared they incinerate themselves if you get too close. Quick 2 shots in the head with scattershot and they are gone.

That is exactly how I got rid of him in the end.
