.Campaign.Players may be missing downloadable cont

After the Prologue the campaign begins to load and goes back to 0% then says Players failed to load content. A player may be missing downloadble content. I just got the game, I heard it may be my hard drive but every other game works fine but H4.It says the same for Forge, when I install the disc it says can’t read the disc even though I was literally playing it fine the other day.

This sounds like a disc problem. I would suggest cleaning the disc and checking it for scratches or anything else that may cause a problem with reading the disc. If you are unable to resolve the problem by cleaning it, you may have to get a new copy of Halo 4, either the digital on-demand version or a new disc version. If you get the disc version, I recommend installing the Disc 1 content to the Xbox Hard Drive to avoid future problems like that.

Thanks for these suggestions. I am having the same problem. Figured I would comment here so as to avoid making a new topic. I’ll try that later this week and hopefully report back with good news. Weirdest part is that my brothers can play the campaign just fine. I’m the only one with this problem and we all use the same disc and 360.

In this case, it’s possible that your profile is corrupted. If you continue to have problems with the Campaign after trying the above methods, I would suggest deleting and redownloading your profile. Hopefully that clears up the issue. If not, please let me know! :wink:

I can’t just go buy a new H4 for the campaign man, I don’t have the $. the disc is new it shouldn’t have any problems. I know just saying “I bought the disc” isn’t in anyway trustworthy but I’d like to see some form from 343 to avoid these kind of ridiculous problems.I’m going to be installing every game to avoid this problem in the future

So I haven’t tried the deleting and redownloading the profile thing yet. But I did find something weird. My disc does need to be clean since I couldn’t install the game at all to clear that up. But only the mission Dawn says I’m missing content. I can play every other mission just fine. It irks me though cause I really want to finally get the Lone Wolf achievement and play the missions in order, but that first mission is being a pain in my side. Any sort of fix for that by chance?

This terrible how h4 is saying player failed to load content what do we do about that,the game ovbiosly u guys need to update the game

I have the same problem with my original Halo 4 I can not play the campaign , I must do and buy again the disk is not an option .

I got a 2 disc halo4 and it says I’m missing content even after I downloaded disc 2… I cant delete my profile because the password to the yahoo and my account was lost but is there any other methods

Sounds like some of your DLC may have become corrupted or you are missing some required DLC. If you don’t have the Forge Island DLC, you’ll need to go an download that from the store - it’s free and shouldn’t take you long to get. If that’s not the cause, go to your dashboard and then along to System Settings and then select memory. Find your Halo 4 data and see if anything has a yellow warning mark over it. If it does, you’ll need to delete that and re-download it. To re-download, press the guide button, scroll right to Account Management and select that. When the tabs show, scroll across to “Download History” and re-download your content.

This is strange the download may be corrupt , i never heard of this problem for a downloaded copy of the game.
