Am I the only one noticing poor performance in the campaign since the update?
Previously, on my xbox one x I could set the target framerate to 30 and the game would perform pretty smoothly, if I picked 60, it would be a bit too choppy so I stuck with 30. Now 30 is as choppy as 60 use to be?
This is why I traded in my one x and got series s, didn’t cost me anything to do at the time and not looked back since, Infinite simply should of been next gen only to try to make it run on one s / x was a mistake.
Unfortunately it’s just the way it is when improvements or updates come out
do you know there is still a problem with the serie’ X that is hard to get one?
so to make it only playable on the new gen console there lose a lot off playerbase at the start.
and a lot off people are not going to buy the serie’s S since its only digital what a lot of people hate and make older game’s you have on disc pointless to play again.
Recently been easy enough to get series x here in Finland, kind of depends where you are. Look around.
I only got series s as couldn’t get x then. But gonna get series x when I can afford to and give series s to my daughter
not in a lot off country’s.
in my country there are always sold out.
you most not forget that we have 2 big problems with the serie’s X now.
1: there is a big chips problem in the world so thats all a problem.
and second: we have people in the world that think its fun to buy all the next gen console’s and re sell it for a super high price with also a big high scamm alart you get.
if there do notting against the re sellers that keep buying the next gen console then normal people like me or you cant never buy the next gen console at all.
and the S serie’s is the worst xbox console there is at all.
only digital no disc station.
and thats why its the worst next gen console ever that almost nobody buys since it has no disc station so all the older game’s are compleet worthless that you have on disc.
and it has a big storage problem in general with the S serie’s.
That’s generally the same with alot of things, will always be people trying to profit, no doubt you will get one at some point, chances are a new version will come out in a year or so and you might end up with one of them and the wait would of been worth it.
Iv’e just bought digital versions for years, got fed up with changing disks all the time, everybody can have their own thoughts on it, storage is easily solvable, ssd’s quite cheap now anyway. Iv’e never looked back after trading in one x for series s, games load quicker, 60fps no problem, some games do run at 4k.
Series S is a great option for people who don’t have much money, can play latest games easily enough and now that games are starting to come out only for net gen consoles, it’s a more affordable option.
When my daughter moves out and I give her my series S, I might even just get another one instead of series x as been totally happy with it.
and thats why the developers from a lot off game company’s are asking microsoft to drop the serie’s S since there wane make game’s with the hardware what the serie’s X use not on the hardware the serie’s S use.
so if you think that now the developers are complaining and asking that microsoft most drop the serie’s S is something you never have hear at all that developers complain about a gen console that a company like microsoft most drop it.
let me tell you this more.
if a lot off people wane have the serie’s X console and there cant buy it and game company’s like 343 most only make next gen console’s how manny players do you think the game developers lose in there playerbase.
that back then when the xbox one has come out that a all the developers stop developing game’s for the xbox 360 generation is that there are a lot off xbox one console’s people can buy.
now with the serie’s X and S is it compleet diffrend a lot off people cant buy it at all.
so you lose a big player base if you only focus on the next gen only and not on the last gen now since its compleet diffrend story then between the 360 day’s and xbone one day’s.
the question is more for how long you going to keep it up.
since game’s only become stronger and stronger in storge and look at the new Warzone from cod the 2.0 version is a lot stronger in storge then the 1.0 version.
and cheap i call a 270 euro for a 1 TB storge card not cheap at all.
for 512 GB card i pay all 170 euro.
if you call that cheap now then are the game’s there sell for 70 euro now at lauch day more cheaper then a storge card for the next gen.
