I know it might seem like a stupid question since the game was designed for these new consoles and especially after we’ve seen how well BTB runs on both series S and X, but I was just wondering if you think the Series S will be able to run the campaign at 60 FPS, because my PC rn is kinda low end atm, and the supply chain problems and GPU market rn is a mess so I won’t get my PC upgraded or a even a new PC overall until some time next year and I own the original xbox one from 2013 that runs the game at only 30 FPS, so I figured I would get an Xbox series S until I can get some more beefy hardware, but do you think the Series S will give solid 60 FPS performance in the campaign? ( again I know it’s kinda a stupid question, but I just wanna know since the game is like right around the corner and my bday is next month ) ( and this question is also sort of speculation since we haven’t seen the campaign running at 60 FPS yet on series S )
I would be surprised if it couldn’t.
I would be surprised if doesnt runs at 60 fps, specially because if series S cant with that its literally imposible for one, one s run the campaign. Also if series runs at 4k series S is most than capable of run it at 1080p60

I traded in my one x, and got series s as can’t get series x, it doesn’t have to handle true 4k textures etc so series s will run at 60fps ok.
Having played flight on both one x and series s, it was so different fps wise, I think even with performance mode the one s/x are gonna struggle with campaigns day / night cycle and it generally being more demanding than a mp map. If your current pc setup upgrades gonna take a while, the series s is a good affordable option to be able to play Infinite. I guess the real performance tests will only be after game comes out,
A friend and I got an S and an X at the same time, I’m on the S, he’s on the X.
The only real differences between the two were storage capacity and 4k textures. For me, 4k isn’t a concern, so the S was an easy pick.
We play together and load whatever we play at nearly the same instant, and while we haven’t side by sided our screens etc, we’ve both been blown away with the smoothness and visual quality of the graphics on both machines.
I cannot tell you if the S will run at 60fps, but I believe from memory of a few bits here and there, that the actual raw processing power is close enough as to be almost identical. The extra is all on 4k etc. At least, that’s how it read to me back when I jumped in.
I’d be very surprised if the S didn’t deliver a 60fps minimum and very, very tidy graphics.
